He did a very good job with Marshall, who was a DB by all accounts
No denying this, his best job by far

Johnson was a bust that had the arm, but not the brain for the position.
Which some of that blame falls on Gus

White had the brain for the position, but lacked an arm and was injury prone.
Yeah, can't blame Gus for that

Stidham is playing in the NFL
Got to dig deeper
He regressed after his first season, I'm not saying that is all Gus or even partly but its something to look at

Nix was the Freshman Player of the Year.
Yep and we should see a growth each year so that will be telling when it comes to development

23 TD - 6 INT - Bo
13 TD - 7 INT - Sam
exactly the same, huh?

Absolutely
Some seem to be taking this as a negative. Ehlinger is a very good college QB.

Expect a significant return to the battering ram mentality going into Sam’s senior season. Last year he got away from that a bit and often times relied too much on schemes/ receiver matchups.
Gotta get back to tucking and moving the pile and not forcing the ball. Backyard football. He’s 230-235 pounds and runs a lot like Tebow. Not fun to tackle in the fourth quarter.

Depends SOG, Did Ehlinger spend 6 months on lockdown breaking down film with a father that was an SEC championship caliber QB that was a D2 head coach and a QB coach and OC at the power five level?
