The exact route for Jackson's ride was released today and the trail tracking the tornado damage from April 27, 2011 will stay to the south of Huntsville. The ride, aiming to raise $1 million for the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund, will go through Jackson and Marshall counties before turning south toward the finish line in Tuscaloosa.

More than $278,000 has been raised so far before the ride has started, according to the ride's website.

The ride will begin between 8-8:30 a.m. from Henagar in Jackson County. The first day will end at Lake Guntersville State Park. The group will have lunch at Jack's in Fyffe.

The bike riders will descend Taylor Mountain into Guntersville before continuing west on Highway 69 toward Arab. The group will ride through Union Grove and Ruth before stopping for lunch at the Hulaco General Store on Hulaco Road west of Arab.

The group will finish the second day in Cullman.

Fans will have opportunities to see Jackson at various points on the route along with what's expected to be a variety of sports celebrities.

On Tuesday night at the end of the first day, the chambers of commerce from Albertville, Arab, Boaz and Guntersville will host a fundraiser from 5-7 p.m. at the Lake Guntersville State Park lodge.

On Wednesday afternoon, Fairview High School in Cullman County will host a rally for riders.

Jackson will also end the middle three days of the ride at Hibbett Sports stores (click here for more information) in Cullman, Jasper and Bessemer.

Great cause, I hope people don't make this about them or an Auburn/Bama thing.

Jackson said numerous sports stars will join him along with way, including seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong; former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen; retired major leaguer Ken Griffey Jr.; snow skier Picabo Street; University of Georgia Heisman winner Herschel Walker; and numerous former teammates from Auburn.

I think very few will do this, and if it's done, will be done in a lighthearted joking way. He's been a good ambassador of the state, even if he is the 2nd best Heisman winning RB from here.

You could always say Trooper will donate some spice for the after-ride party in the RV.

Bo is a class act, he loves his school, but also loves his state, great ambassador for the state.

Also he was a pretty damn good athlete.
