Excellent question. This is really close, so if the next coach at a school they left sucked, that could be the deciding factor.

If the next coach has a slight decline the first few years, then blame coaching. If it is destroyed in a short time, blame the previous coach. It is hard to find another example of a program that took years to develop and was still top 2 in the Conference, taking such a sudden nose dive. Not Tennesssee, Not UF, not AU, not OU or UTA. It happens when an old coach is close to retirement, but not a guy in his 40s.
