I read this post then I saw that you were from Alabama that explains this ignorant statement
On one hand you are fighting against alleged racism, which is admirable, but then you make a ignorant racist statement like this. By making a ignorant statement like this you lose whatever little credibility that you had.
I also won't lump anyone else from Arkansas or any black, white, brown or any other color skin or race that you maybe associated with. I only blame you for making a ignorant statement.

You can take their word for what they SAY happened, I choose to remain skeptical as I've seen too many lies told in these situations. Even if it is true, getting so upset over someone calling you a name is extremely weak and childish.

Let's ask Fournette though. He was getting it pushed in all night long last night. Memory still fresh for him.

It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say:
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”
And that is called paying the Danegeld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Danegeld
You never get rid of the Dane.
Rudyard Kipling

They have blown this way out of proportion, and the gov and coach are egging them on.

He should be escorted off campus and never have the opportunity to do so again for Missouri. What the players are doing is wrong. What he is doing is wrong. He is encouraging and teaching them that they don't have to live up to their word in providing their services for their education.
What about the English department that (just a week ago) took a UNANIMOUS vote of no confidence in the president, by a vote of 26-0? And what about the several other departments that did the exact same? Should all those professors and faculty also be escorted off campus? There several professors and faculty participating in this thing.
Just to recap, multiple departments on campus took a vote of confidence in the university president last week before all this started. Every single one of them came away with votes of no confidence, most unanimous.
I'm not taking the protestors side by any means, it just sounds like the president should be canned regardless of this shite.

A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.

What? This guy hasn't even made it a couple days and is eating? I bet 75% of the people on this board could outlast this guy at the drop of a hat.

You do realize, don't you, what ilk makes up the vast majority of those comprising college faculties?

Have those other Dept heads quit doing their job and publicly stated they wouldn't until he quits?

Yes, my grandparents were both professors at UofA and extremely upstanding individuals. One was a history professor, the other English. I've also had 8 years of college and maybe 1 or 2 out of my professors the entire time weren't necessarily upstanding, admirable people. All I'm saying is that there is a reason for educated, older professors having no confidence in the president.

Fighting "racism" has become like witch hunting. All you need is an accusation and the witch is burned.

Scholarships aren't 'jobs' and if they are then the NCAA, member schools and CFB as we know it is in deep shite for not paying their workforce.

Are you sure you know what you're talking about? I think they were voting a lack of confidence in another man, the chancellor maybe? Not The president Mr. Wolfe. I may be wrong about that but I'm pretty sure that's what I read.
Edit #2: removed my snarky "stop pushing your incorrect propaganda BS to support your position" comment because that's not what he was doing. Honest mistake.
Here's the link with the correct information regarding the voting...
