That's why the standard should be self-immolation in public. Can't cover for a burned corpse.

It's sad to think about what REAL black people went through to end segregation, and now these little shits are voluntarily segregating themselves. Sickening.

This. There are legitimate racism problems out there, sure, but to see how a large portion of that community acts today isn't honoring what their ancestors fought for and it is a spit in the face of those ancestors.

There you go again with the complaining bull shite.

Maybe you should look up the Gymnast arrested for running a stolen theft ring and illegal guns. Or the gym coach with ties to UF involved in child pornography? How about baseball players arrests, track arrests, swimmers and divers, basketball players.

You know why you don't hear about a female UF athlete using stolen credit cards a few months ago? Nobody gives a shite. Football players make up the majority of scholarships, so you should expect a higher overall number. We also know more about football players the moment they sign LOI.

You are a sniveling little man. But please, post the links to all of these other cases and the aggregate statistics. Let's see where the data takes us.

I did hear about the UF athlete using stolen cards. She was accused and dismissed from the team. I had a class with a gymnast that got dismissed from the team but it was for shenanigans and being immature, not because she committed a crime. And, are you trying to make a claim that a gymnast was running guns and stuff, when what happened was that her boyfriend was a thief and had stolen items stored at her place? There's quite a distinction there. But you're prone to hyperbole so maybe you are. I don't know what you mean by gym coach but there was a sideline reporter arrested on charges related to child pornography, Steve Babik.

You seem to believe that because you were an athlete that no one else on the planet has access to information, or that no one else understands anything. You realize that beat reporters monitor police blotters every day and when athletes, regardless of sport, are noticed that it gets around? Stupid question, of course you don't realize that. You think you have the market cornered on information.

The opposite. White is all colors of the spectrum combined. Thats why you see a rainbow when white light goes through a prism. Black is the absence of light/color.

If they were on a 4 game winning streak, this shite wouldn't be happening with the segregated payers of the team. Shits funny to me.

Scholarships are granted on a year to year basis. Get walk-ons to fill the spots and move on without them.

I wouldn't go so far as to declare that one black person is spitting in another's face... as a white person I'm not in a position to make that judgment... all I know is that I RESPECT James Meredith and Rosa Parks and do not, in any way, respect these current Missouri clown claims.

Jonathan Butler (the guy on the starvation diet) is the most despicable character I can recall in the whole history of civil rights protests. Imagine you've worked hard your entire life to become a university president, and some little jackass targets you by hurting himself. That's similar to a suicide bomber in a market place.

This entire thing started because some coddled little speck of a man, a student body president, thinks he's so special that he should be shielded from words that unlike sticks and stones can't break his bones. He got angry because the university didn't pay enough attention quick enough to his whine, even when the university had nothing to do with the incident.

Stand firm, Missouri. There are valid claims of racial abuse out there. This is not one of them. This is of the counterproductive boy-who-cried-wolf type that only tends to cause the rest of us to be immediately skeptical and dismissive of such complaints.

A $120,000 education is cheap to you? GTFO with that.

The stupidity of your comment isn't even worth a response because you know not what you speak. You hear people throw out shite and you get mad because you think football players are getting $120k a year. You're not going to get what I say because you're feeble mind is already made up.

It is ridiculously cheap to go to southern universities. It is cheaper to send my 4 year old to UF, including tuition, room, board, transportation than to send her to daycare.

[link=(Cost to attend UF )]https://www.sfa.ufl.edu/basics/cost-of-attendance/[/link]
It costs $20,000/year to attend UF. Half of the expense is housing, food and transportation. 90% of UF students receive financial aid. The majority of students in need receive over $11,000 in aid, over half the cost to attend. So most UF students pay ~$9k A YEAR to attend. Or ~$750/month.

The average college athlete will spend 33 hours a week on their sport. Do the math.

Here's the kicker. If that student didn't go to college, they would still be paying to eat, sleep and drive a car. People have to pay living expenses even if they don't go to college. Who do you know that can live at home on ~$750/month?

I know of no one that dropped out of UF because they couldn't afford it. No one.

Now if you want to talk about going to Southern Cal where their tuition is ~$50k a year, you might have a point.

Bruh, out of state tuition at Mizzou is $25k per year. So $100k over 4 years. You can say whatever you want, but that's a good chunk of change.

LINK

Also, your point about players being underpaid as "employees" doesn't really make sense. You're saying that playing football is equivalent to waking up and having to go work at a job (let's say a bank). There is a huge difference between the two.

Most of these players actually enjoy and WANT to play football, and would probably do it for free. Whereas, almost zero people actually enjoy working and want to work. The two are not equivalent, and it's asinine to view the players as "employees".

Who the hell goes out of state to Missouri?

You're still missing the point. The majority of that $100k over that 4 years is assisted.

and... $100k is only a chunk of change if you can't afford it. Which if you can't, the school will meet your need.

The stupidity of my comment? Listen jackass, an out of state degree for most of those kids is going to be around $120,000. If you're too stupid to see that then I can't help you.

And it is not ridiculously cheap to go to college at southern universities. Most are going to cost you at least $40,000 to get a degree. Those at UF who receive academic scholarships which I highly doubt that most of those who play football at UF would be able to get if it's anything like the Hope Grant in Georgia.

You know of no one who dropped out of UF because they couldn't afford it? shite, I have former students who drop out of UGA, KSU, GSU and others each year because they can't afford it. You must have had a sheltered, privileged life at UF.
