We've been trying to keep that abduction thing under wraps for years now. We had a contract with some aliens and they were pretty efficient. But, it looks as though they used anal probes too often and some people are butt hurt.

This is the truth, people don't like to acknowledge it but it's not a "free ride" it's school on exchange for a 40 to 60 hour a week job and it's not just in football, even in minor sports if you have an actual full ride you are going to be pushed at least as hard as you would be with a full time job- mandatory weight training, practices, meal time, etc "voluntary" off-season workouts where if you don't show up occasionally because you staggered you're school schedule so that you can take more credits in your less active semester you're screwed/pressured into a less challenging major, etc.

Ole baw didn't think through his demands really well before posting them. He gave mizzou until 2017 to get more black teachers in the classroom. By my watch he has 2 years of a hunger strike even if he were to get all his demands met. This dude sounds like a 5 year old trying to get his way.

Not to mention, many years later, I have had numerous knee and back surgeries, short term memory loss from concussions, blurred vision, arthritis in most joints and migraines, etc., all due to football. The University never paid a dime to all my future medical issues nor took any responsibility. The University of Florida alumni doctor didn't give me a discount because I once played football. Thankfully, I was able to afford it on my own but I know many guys who can't.

Two days ago, I never would have dreamed Mizzou FB could get any worse.

I have never said that they should not be able to protest. I said they are acting like a lynch mob, using my freedom of speech to protest the substance of what they are doing. they could protest without demanding the school president be fired given he is not a racist and has not condoned racism. they are being aholes

So it's clear Pinkel IS NOT running the football program, it is running him, maybe he feels like he's back in the 60's at Kent St, protesting the war and kumbaya and shite, whatever, all I know is the team needs a leader at the HC job and he is not it.
For every day they "voluntarily" don't practice the coaching staff should have 20% of their remaining salary deducted so by the end of the week they are either working for free from here out or out the door.

The reason players are given a scholarship, free food, room, books, etc. is to play football. If they refuse, take their scholarships. It shouldn't even be a question.
