Tunsil admitted that OM paid momma's light bill. There is more to come. Buck visited a recruit with a booster. 8 boosters are involved that we know of right now. Tee Shepard is possibly talking as well. Lets see what the new letter says.
If the coaches paid that light bill illegally than yes, we are fricked. I dont think any disagree.
I've explained the FCA director meeting with a 3* who didnt have a better offer than OM as far as your booster story.
Ive heard its not Tee, but others. It is only my opinion, but I dont think anything substantial comes out of this.
EliteDawgs has been saing more is coming ever since they learned the Tunsil stuff wasnt that big of a deal. It would be one thing if it was said after draft night or recently when more could have come out we dont know of. But they were saying that when the investigation was closed, so I give so credence to this 8 booster crap that your fearless leader spreads days after loosing a job because of his insane obsession.

Were the text messages between Tunsil and the coach (or was it an AD worker) proven to be fakes?
ETA: Or FaceBook messages? I'm losing track at this point.

Pretty sure Steve (genespage) has said more is coming also and he's been dead on through the whole process.

Do you think that was a one time deal - meaning only paid Tunsil's bill once and/or he's the only player who received such benefit?

Others that are talking? What is the speculation that they are saying?
Not your quote, but:

who are these boosters? I didn't think it was that high of a number.

Ole Miss is royally screwed. What makes me mad is they won't admit it. If they were mad at the coaches and administration for putting them in this position, I would be mad along WITH them more than at them
Who cares if they admit it or not... It's called De-NIAL.. Let's just enjoy watching the ship burn and the rats jumping from the ship..

Not sure how any OM fan can argue that they weren't paying Tunsil under the table then. "If" shouldn't even be used anymore.
Assuming you're correct, of course.

Im not the most avid follower of Steve, though I now follow him on twitter

Enlighten me, what has he been dead on about?
The only thing Im aware of is Freeze said, "withholding the Tunsil investigation, the majority of the allegations have to do with non football, and only a few of the football allegations have to do with the current staff. This was a nice twist of words, but what fans and recruits wanted to know was what they didnt already know. Everyone knew what the NCAA accused Tunsil of before the NOA came out. He was punished for such. If you withhold the tunsil stuff (the stuff people already knew), the majority of the allegations did have to do with other sports and only 5 had to do with the current staff, with only 1 allegation being serious, which they believe was a misunderstand and would be reduced to level 2 (FCA booster).
Steve said that it was worse than what Freeze said and from a public perception he was right, but technically Freeze didnt lie. So help me out, what else has Steve been "spot on" about.

I don't think anyone has ever denied it. I bet we (boosters) pay all of our five stars.

I still see "if we paid" still being thrown around a lot by OM posters. "If" those messages were real there is no longer any "if we paid" here.
It's just a matter of how much and whether the NCAA will care if it's a small amount.

No one is doubting Tunsil had his light bill paid by funds that werent his. The question is was it paid by a legal fund or an illegal fund. Our administration knows the truth and knows what the NCAA knows, yet are saying they are in the clear with that matter and have not fired any coaches. Freeze goes on national tv and tells everyone that if he found out coaches paid players illegally they would be fired. The truth will eventually come out so Freeze committed career suicide instead of throwing a coach under the bus if there is something the the tunsil messages.

I believe they mean, "if they[NCAA] have hard evidence we paid"

Think they were said to be valid. The thing about it that caught my attention was not just the obvious "agreed to an amount and that keeps changing" part, but later in the image you see that Tunsil is asking a coach to meet him "right now" at the IPF (indoor practice facility). Not an uncommon request, I'm sure, but it was after 10pm when he sent the request. What was so urgent it couldn't wait until morning?

One would also assume that the NCAA would have discovered the light bill issue in the 3-4 yrs prior to the NOA. Especially if there was a systematic payment process in place. Therefore it stands to reason that OM either is really good at hiding evidence (no proof), or the payments were legitimate. Otherwise, they would have been in the NOA
