Excellent point! He could rock a "the game" Bama hat like no other...... the crimson version

Pretty comical that you believe this.
The same Nancy Watts that got Winp fired for having a long term affair with her and bitch slapping her went on to become CM Newtons second wife

I give you Dennis Franchione.
He isn't wearing a sweater. In fact, this has nothing to do with coaches or sweaters. I just wanted to point out A&M was once down 77-0 in the third quarter of a tackle football game.

I lived in Georgia when Curry coached at Ga Teck. I am sure he must have been a great guy and all of that but he came across as the most arrogant dude I have ever observed as a coach.
Kind of reminds me of Comey, the former Attorney General. He recognized himself as the only honest guy on the planet. When it came to coaching football, everyone else was a rat.

So was the problem that he could only recruit RBs and LBs?

That ‘89 Bama team was damn good too. Hollingsworth at QB and Keith McCants (RIP) wreaking havoc on defense. People forget they were 10-0 ranked #1 coming into the Ironbowl. But there wasn’t any Bama team in history that was going to beat Auburn in the first Ironbowl at Jordan Hare. Still the loudest game I’ve ever been too.

I've got a signed glossy from Coach Curry buried in some box upstairs from my days as a kid going to his football camps at UK. He was a genuinely good man. But his tenure here overall was a disaster. Never blamed Alabama fans for not liking him results wise.
