Louisville (of course I'm talking mainly about Basketball, but that beat down of Florida didn't help.)

USC is nowhere near LSU. Not even dominant in the PAC-12.

I don't get it. You're saying Mississippi State or Ole Miss should win the national championship every year?
That A&M education is top notch I tell you.

he biggest threat to the SEC is the SEC itself.
This is the correct answer.

Any thoughts on what this could be?
Only logical choice for this coming season is Ohio State. However, if an SEC team plays them in the BCSCG, then there is a better than avg chance that they would lose.
The only Pac12orso team that is is a threat is Oregon, but they just replaced their HC, so everything could be up in the air...Arky fans know what I'm talking bout.

Um. Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.
Swamp kittens get an Aggie education as well.

Not sure that was what he was referring to, but..........

Reading comprehension typically comes in around pre-K I thought. Maybe they should re-think the timetable for development in Texas. Graphic analysis is apparently not a strong suit over that way.

No doubt an SEC team will lose eventually to a team in a NCG or a semi-final game. It is inevitable. At that point, we will hear the chorus from around the country that SEC dominance has come to an end.
However, there are too many built in advantages. The ACC could get its act together and siphon off a lot of top recruits from SEC territory. At best they could only hope to dampen the talent flow into the conference. Miami, VaTech, Clemson, FSU and UNC all recruiting at their highest level would certainly put a hurt on us.
Quite frankly, other conferences have a long ways to go to come close to being able to match the SEC in terms of consistency in performance.
Their hope should be that the SEC eventually destroys itself from within a la old SWC style.

And that just seems unlikely with the current parity. If one team gets too big for its breeches vis-a-vis the others then I guess it could, take Texas as an example of how not to make a lasting conference.

Bad coaching hires. Look around the league now.
