2009 Florida zero question.

Returning 19 of 22 starters from a title team including Heisman winner Tim Tebow and an insanely dominate Oline and defense

Biggest loss...Dan Mullen. Steve Addazio did not call plays well and was very predictable.

That team should have blown everyone out just like the previous season with little problem and certainly performed better vs Bama.

Wasn't that the year when Alabama had so many teams get the week off before the games?

6 SEC teams in a row had byes.

Had a lot of injuries that year and lost a significant player before the season started due to off the field issues.

I think the only time we were really healthy that season was the bowl game

2018 UGA ?

Lost a lot of star power to the NFL and was considered by most rational fans to be a wait and see what we have team. Don't think anyone really expected a title run from this team at this juncture. I think most projections for us were spot on in the preseason as well from both pundits and fans. Squandered talent would be like the 2008 team that was preseason number 1.....this team wasn't that.

2010 Bama

My guess. This was a rebuilding year for us. Does nobody remember us losing 33 seniors? Now all of a sudden we wasted a great roster?

I've seen and heard more than my fair share of Georgia fans say that they had more talent than Bamaor that they were the most talented team in the country blah blah blah.

Check the data in my post on combined experience.

I patrol a lot of Georgia places and no one including our own fans thought we had a better team than Bama. People read some obscure idiot and repeat it as spoken word. Stop being obtuse.

2018 UGA

The 2010 Bama team ended the year with major momentum by beating the shite out of Michigan State in the bowl game. Then we won the NC the next years 2011 & 2012.

Georgia shite on itself losing it's last 2 games. So, don't expect anything great in 2019.

And you took them seriously?
Dude. Alabama had 7 straight #1 recruiting classes. Surely you know better. You ignore the trolls and drive on.

Combined experience data for 2018. Jawja was 80th in the country and 11th in the SEC.

In 2015 BAMA was 124th in the nation/13th in the SEC and won it all.

In 2017 BAMA was 67th in the nation/9th in the SEC and won it all.

Those are nice statistics, but mean nothing unless you get a head to head comparison with the teams that year. I mean, Alabama has had 8of the last 9 #1 recruiting classes in the country. Do you really want to argue that the Georgia roster is close? I guess maybe close, but Alabama is still the best roster. And experienced rosters are nice, but would you rather have experience with no talent or talent with no experience?

2010 BAMA

But at least BAMA won the national championship in 2009 and 2011. Put bookends around auburn’s national championship.

Did the same to Clemson last year.

That would be Bama considering we have maybe the youngest team in college football, and lost almost our entire defense, two of the greatest RBs in SEC history, our best OL, and our go to receiver.

I'm beginning to think Bama fans, or people from the state of Alabama are mentally retarded. Although half the state did vote for a pedophile for congress, so that may be the evidence of that.

That is why I lean GA, although honestly I don't think either team really wasted a lot of talent.

However, I think the schedule made it much more difficult for Alabama. Every team was gunning for the national champs and so many teams got the week off to get healthy and plan.

Doesn't matter how much talent you have when the injuries add up and you don't really get a breather.

I may be getting my years wrong, but Alabama had a pretty brutal schedule --- I mean I remember they played some big time teams (Hell, Arky went to the Sugar Bowl) before they lost to SC. LSU only had two losses, AU and Arky. And the loss to AU did not look bad at all considering AU went on to win the national championship.

The only bad loss was the SC game. But even SC had nine wins that year.

Biggest waste of talent is Katherine Webber.

2010 Alabama was overrated from the start, which is why it finished 4th in the SEC-W.

Tubs 2.0 is doing a pretty good job of wasting talent now too.
