Big day today for Bama Basketball

A chance to make it a successful season. A sweet 16 trip with this limited roster and replacing the entire coaching staff from last year? icing on the cake. IF they pull it off.
The draw could not have been better and there's a 12 seed..a good one mind you, but a 12 seed in the way and Bama is the better team. Now will the one that showed up in the first round or the Bama that limped its' way to the seasons' end show up? That's the question.
Win this, and go to LA. And it goes from good draw to nail tough. One seed North Carolina and if somehow you pull a shocker likely two seed Arizona. You played them tough on the road earlier, but you don't match up well. With either team.
Let's just hope Bama plays well and beats the lesser seed today, and as far as I am concerned it's gravy from there.

If Bama wins today and then loses in the S16, that means they beat the teams they should beat and nothing more.

You play who you play. If we win today beat UNC somehow and someone knocks off the 2 seed, you gonna claim we are backing our way into the Final Four?

At present, I would say the same thing about Tennessee. Have beat the teams we should beat and nothing more. This has been a semi-successful season, only because we won the SEC. If the VOLS (or Bama) make the Elite 8 +, then it’d be a successful season for either team.

I would normally agree with this but this year's team has fallen off steadily as the season went on. As far as I'm concerned today is playing with house money.

It means we went to the Sweet 16, dipshit. Did it after losing all but 4 players; returning only 1 starter, and the head coach.

This is the 30 win team in GCU. Pulling a win today with this patchwork team would be remarkable. Both teams could hit 100.

Any team in the SEC that makes the Sweet 16 has had a really good, successful season... outside of Kentucky.
