Both schools want a home game with each other. End of story.

Not sure who would get fired if they moved the game from DKR and Kyle Field... Both have seating capacity of 100K+ while NRG is just over 72K. Going down 28,000+ seats would be asinine.

If they moved to a neutral site, Trev would be kicked out the door with a quickness

Frankly, Texas would go home-and-home with OU but the Okies don't want to. They want to go Jerry World. So leaving it alone was the compromise.

This is bullshite and you know it. Not one OU fan nor the school wants to go to Jerry World. You can’t replicate the State Fair atmosphere at Cotton Bowl.

Both schools leveraged Jerry World some years ago to get upgrades at Cotton Bowl but were never going to move.

You cannot move this game anywhere or else it will lose its luster.

So the "exciting announcement" is that Cotton is the sponsor?

It’s starting to become obvious that you never even attended Texas if you actually think people want that game move out of the Cotton Bowl

I know, I’m just giving that poster shite. Whenever I upset him he falls back on the “you didn’t even go there” response (which is false)
