Who should they add? BYU, Houston, Cincy, & Memphis have been talked about.

Bowlsby: "They're gonna join a family, and it's important that they strengthen the family and we strengthen them."

The #Big12 Board of Directors Tuesday called on Bob Bowlsby to "actively evaluate" 2 to 4 candidates for expansion.

14-team Big 12 is on the table. BYU, Memphis, UCF, USF, Colorado State, Houston, UConn, Boise State, others

The Big 12 used to be the dominant conference. It's sad to see those options.

Seems like a shitty family given half the league is looking to leave.

When was the Big 12 "the dominant conference"?

I don't blame Arkansas fans for wanting to leave the SEC considering you'll NEVER win the SEC

Weren't they fairly dominant back when OU was actually a power and Nebraska and Tejas were strong?

So pretty much they are going to choose from these: BYU, UHouston, Memphis, UCF, Boise State, Colorado State, or Cincinnati. Can you think of anyone else?

Don't know about dominant, but they were very salty.

Weak options for a weak conference, they're closer to the top G5 conferences than they are to the B1G and SEC

The Big 12 has been a broken conference from its inception. They have had to duct tape together a 10-team league after losing four major programs over a two-year period. They once cited "One True Champion" only to wind up not crowning a champion and having no teams in the playoffs in 2015.

I'm all for LSU going to the big 12. the SEC office in Birmingham can kiss my arse. with the playoff system who needs a tough schedule? win your conference and you're in. Plus, LSU's not going to lose Louisiana in recruiting and they will further their roads in Texas recruiting

LSU would EASILY be the most hostile stadium in the Big 12, but I worry that their defensive talent would dry up in that league.

I'd say they can have back Texas A&M and Mizzou but they know better and wouldn't take them back

There ends conference realignment until the LHN contract is done (2030).
