As an LSU fan I would say Oregon. The dramatic finish. The freshman QB. Definitely Oregon.

AU had a better defensive showing, but LSU had a by far better offensive showing. Plus Texas was ranked higher. Therefore, LSU had a better win, imo.

AU has a long way to go on offense, but I think the D will keep them in games they should lose handily.

There’s no way to know yet.

I really love the discourse in this thread! Rarity on tRant lately. Even the trolls are being ignored for the most part.

I think the defining difference (bc this is pretty much a toss up) is that lsu’s Win was a true road game. Auburn’s was not. So for the time being, that makes LSU’s a better win IMO.

Way to early to tell. I'm going to guess Oregon is a better team, but LSU also did it as a true road game. So call it even.

This is a stupid question. Texas was ranked higher. Texas was on the road. LSU was in charge for the entire game.

LSU’s win over Texas was better than Auburn’s win over Oregon

LSU would boat race Oregon just like in 2011 on any field and any day. Texas would do the same to them.

Won’t be any last minute heroics needed from our kicker this year. That beat down is 5 weeks away.

Texas

At least the BIG 12 has two decent teams. Nobody in the PAC 12 has a pulse.

Remember the Texas/Notre Dame hype from a few years ago, when Texas won? Go from there.....

Don’t know that we can say for sure after two games. Both Texas and Oregon I feel can go on and win 9 or 10 games but I also could see 7 or 8 out of either. I’m not sold and never was sold on the Texas is back just because they had a bowl win over a poorly prepared Georgia team.

If I had to say right now I think a road win at Texas trumps a neutral site win. I might feel different about it in four weeks

Let’s just schedule Texas vs Oregon for some bowl and let them settle it on the field

they could meet in the Alamo, but Oregon is headed to the Rose Bowl and Texas is headed to the Sugar.
