This isn't about Saban. I'm just using him as an example as to why some of the crtiticism of the hire rings hollow.
I thought it was Gary Crowton who was the problem with LSU's offense?
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Look, at the end of the day this is a huge upgrade for LSU. To suggest otherwise is just downright stupid.

Whenever I get depressed about my life, I read your posts, and it makes me happy, because you must have a shitty life.

Cam Cameron was fired after how many years in the NFL?
I think he's been fired a couple of times. I may be wrong, though. I'm not a Cam Cameron historian.

Saban didn't hang around long enough to get fired
He got a better job. People move on when they get better jobs. He wasn't in any danger of losing the Miami job.

Almost as ridiculous as people thinking this is a bad hire.
I think it's a good hire, if Les lets Cam have the offense. I don't think it's a game changer. OCs rarely are, or they'd become HCs quickly.

Lol, Bama is not a better job than the dolphins.

and we attempted to fix it by hiring Krags. unfortunately he was not able to fully perform his duties due to his illness and we promoted an o-line coach

Depends on who you ask, I suppose. If it suits someone much better, and the pay is comparable, why wouldn't they consider it a better job?

Cam Cameron actually a had huge success as Ravens OC
I assume you are referring to the 2000 Ravens team that won the Super Bowl?
The same team that had the worst rated offense of any team to win the Super Bowl in NFL history?
That kind of "huge success?"
Without that defense, that team wins 4 games max.

Jesus Christ couldn't get a winning record at Indiana.
But he can hit a curve ball.

How'd he do when he was the head coach of the Dolphins?
Posted on 2/8/13 at 7:05 pm to Crimson Legend
Not many guys can claim to have been fired from four seperate jobs in a ten year span.
