The HC of Alabama, fresh on the heels of an SEC Co-Championship, once left to take the Kentucky HC job.

The HC with the 2nd highest win total in Arkansas history left to take the Ole Miss HC job,

Arkie at least has a history, even though it was in another conference.

Kentucky has actually won a SEC championship in football while Arkansas never has

Who was the head coach of Kentucky's only championship team?

It's not even close. Arkansas is FAR better.

Kentucky has historically had very little success in football. They remain the only known team to give its coach a Gatorade bath and tear down goalposts following a LOSS!

Arkansas was a perennial contender in the old Southwest Conference, and have played in several SECCGs. Arkansas is on the cusp of again amounting to something big.

Ok, let’s have a d**k measuring contest. This should be easy. We’ve been to 42 Bowl games. Have 13 conference titles. 13 Cotton ,6 Sugar, 2 Orange, and a Fiesta included. We’ll go Alabama with 2 National titles. Oh, and 3 SEC title game appearances.
UK , it’s your turn. Waiting?

Troll thread but..

With no in-state rival to battle over recruits(which KY has), and solid recruiting out of TX, OU and even LA every year, there's no reason for us to be any worse than 8-4 each year with 9-10 win seasons every 2-3 years. Not glamorous but realistic numbers, we've just flat out under achieved due to poor coaching, outside of Petrino.

Kentucky

Because the bar is low.

Kentucky reached its 33 year regular season win high water mark with its 7th win this season.

It could go back years. The effects of being sailed on can manifest themselves years later.
