Stidham vs LSU 2017:
9/26 for 165 1 TD

Rosier vs LSU:
15-35 259 1 TD 2 Int

I mean, its not like Stidham was any good when he played LSU....

Edit: I would also add our D is better this year than last year.

If Burrow and LSU WRs can get on the same page, LSU would be dangerous to most teams.

I'd take LSU's D over AU any day. Our front 7 is underrated.

Remember when the entire SEC Rant laughed at LSU for hiring Kevin Steele?

..but now, since he's at Auburn, he's a top tier DC.

Got it.

I mean, we laughed when Auburn hired him too. But to be fair, he's been really good. Has gotten great results from the amazing front 7 talent he inherited.

Gotta tip your cap.

I didn't laugh. And if people did, it was nowhere close to when he was hired at LSU.

But then again, it was mostly Aggy trying to troll after they "stole" Chavis

Equal. They’re both nasty.

Auburn’s line is good.

LSU’s LB & secondary are good.

It’ll be a very good game if you love defense like I do.

Don’t have actual numbers but Steele was good at getting LSU opponents into third and long. We consistently blew coverages on those all game long.

I'll take the bait...

Dline PUSH (this one is really close)
LB advantage LSU (not so close)
Secondary advantage LSU (not even remotely close)
DC advantage LSU

Auburn most definitely has the better offense (from what we've seen so far). So it kind of evens things out to me...therefore, I believe this comes down to ST, turnovers, field position, and kicking game.

DL - Auburn
LB - LSU
DB - LSU
DC - LSU

I'll go with LSU, although not by a large margin

Besides White, I would take Auburn's LBs over any of the rest of yours

I'll give you that one, but Steele is pretty dang good.

I'm not going to disagree with you because I don't know enough about Auburn's LBs. Jacob Philips, our other starting MLB, is a beast though. Just a sophomore, he has alot of 2017 White in him. Highly recruited, great athlete, and just always seems to be near the ball.

Our OLB I feel like aren't really true LBs in Aranda's scheme. They set the edge, cover the TEs, and pass rush. They are never going to wow you with stats unless they get to the QB consistently. RIP K'Lavon's ACL

Auburn hasn't had a DB drafted in the 1st round since 2005

LSUs #1 corner is the consensus #1 or #2 CB off the board in this years draft. Our other corner is a stud, but he was expected to be suspended this year so you won't see him in any mock drafts.

What does that have to do with AU's DBs in 2018?

LSU's backfield is good. You guys just need to get out of your bubble. There are other good ones out there.

Yeah, I don't see a cornerback on AU's starting roster that will be a 1st rounder. Now Tutt the freshman...
