Remember when the entire SEC Rant laughed at LSU for hiring Kevin Steele?

..but now, since he's at Auburn, he's a top tier DC.

Got it.

He was decent at LSU. He's been really good at Auburn though.

I'm not taking a jab at Steele, I think he's a good DC and clearly well respected in the coaching world.

I'm more just talking about how the SEC Rant works

Yeah he came into a much better front 7 situation there than at LSU. However, I seem to remember a good bit of blown coverage with him that Auburn has seemingly been able to avoid with less talent in the back part of the defense than he had at LSU.

so far, lsu is more of a wrecking crew with turnovers, so I give lsu the edge.

I want auburn to understand that I respect their defense as a top defense. we're not talking a great difference.

How many turnovers does the LSU D have?

We have 5 or 6. I know we got 2 vs Wash and one guy had 2 ints one being a pick 6 vs ASU. And I know we had either 3 or 4 in total against them.

Probably pretty close in turnovers forced.

Look Hoss, my dad fought in THE WAR, you know THE WAR it was in all the papers. Anyway, he said it was slanted over there. Not sure how many cultures he had at an opportunity to dine at the Y, but I will ask him this weekend and get back to you with his answer to my question

LSU has 5 turnovers, Auburn has 6.

Problem is, Auburn has also coughed the ball up 4 times, for a turnover margin of +2. LSU is tied for 1st in the SEC with a turnover margin of +5.

Yeah, I guess we should check defensive points. We have 6 to go with the 6 forced turnovers as well.

Those 4 turnovers were all against ASU. And all fumbles by back up running backs. Though Whitlow is sorta a 1b guy now.

Zero vs Washington.
