seriously cannot figure out WHY who makes more is even important. Fact is, Tech has the little brother syndrome and it's the only thing they can hang their hats on. No one gives a shite but a Tech graduate. Too bad money can't translate to wins in Georgia like it does in Alabama.

the fact is, one's degree gets you your job; how much money you make is up to you. cream rises to the top and dead weight sinks. who works for you is only used by college students validating their choice of college and pulling their "superiority card". in real life, the go-getters win and it doesn't make a damn where they went to college.

And the what was the whole thing about?

He just came up and told me to go frick myself...and told me that I wasn't welcome in Auburn's student union. I said okay...got my drink and went on my way.

And I'm actually a big fan of Auburn. I go up there every chance I can. I've been in that union a lot too. I guess he didn't care then.

1.Many a techie were extremely cool during my visits
2.Had a great time with one of the two good looking women on that campus
3.Lemmings, sorry, Engineers, must be led, hence the Terry Business School

Stop rehashing bullshite from the first year after you weasled out of the SEC, no one in your family was alive then, of that I am sure.

UGA 2009; I think it was one of last games UGA allowed tailgating on North Campus. I completely understand why they did this. Reminded me of the ampitheatre but 100x more people and rowdiness. Had a great time, almost makes me forget about the bloodbath that unfolded on the field. Bars were great afterwards as well.

LSU 2009; Went to some shitty bars on Friday. Didn`t have a place to tailgate, so we were walking around drinking and a big LSU tailgate invited us over and fed us beer and food. We get our shite rocked, but it was still a great weekend. Stayed w/ T-Bob Hebert and ended up shotgunning beers with him and some other guys from team till 4am. Long drive home...

Alabama 2010; Went out to a house party at the reserve then to the bars on Friday. As I strolled(staggered) out of the bar I got snagged by the Birmingham News affiliate and they had me do a "wake up alabama, war eagle" for the morning news. Needless to say, I was blackout and probably scared some old ladies. I watched the first half at a friends, then headed to gilettes with my tail between my legs. Pretty quiet bar at the half, but all hell broke loose when we came back. No fights or anything, just epic smack talking and rounds of shots. Great time.

Worst:
FLA/GA Game 2009; Stayed at a buddies beach house in St. Augustine. His parents are loaded and said theyd order us a party bus to take to the game. Yeah the company lost the reservations so we had to take 3 taxis there... $150 per cab and it took us 2 1/2 hours. Show up at the tailgate and my buddies dad gives us 6 50 yd line tickets. We didn`t give a shite about the game so I was commissioned to sell our tickets. All I get is frick yous and ppl saying I was a bad fan. Sold em but got short changed $40. Tailgating was alright. Lots of jorts and white trash. The landing was pretty fun after the game other than the obnoxious prices.

I guess playing in Jax is fun for some people. I would rather have home and aways. Athens and Gainesville are both great towns. Both have great talent, but there was a lot of ugly in the crowd that day.

UGA/UF stadiums>>Jax municipal shithole

Best: UGA 06. Nothing too harsh, fun overall.

Worst: LSU 05. Was told by an LSU fan I would burn in hell for cheering against LSU after those hurricanes. There weren't many Vol fans there either. Probably my favorite road win in person other than 01 Florida but the LSU fans sucked.

Best: 2008 Kentucky

Overall great fans, decent gameday experience, and Catfan didn't send me on a endless loop of bad directions.

Worst: 2009 Alabama

Nothing to do with the game. Or the fans. Found a friend died the morning of the game and I was just in a daze the whole day. The outcome of the game didn't matter, I just wanted to get home. But there was nothing we could really do to get back until after the game, so we just left right after and made the long drive back.

Florida 2008

The game was self-explanatory. Rainy, I froze, our offense froze. The fans we ran into were terrible. Obviously this isn't a portrayal of all Gator fans. After the game we got stuck in a fricking sand pit thing where we parked across from the McDonald's. Some decent Gator fans pulled us out, but also took their shots.

Best: Tennessee in 2006.

Worst: Florida. The nice ones are few and far between.

Jacksnoville is a once every three years experience for me. I'm not crazy about it, but at at the same time I'm also not crazy about the idea of Athens being flooded with UF fans every other year (no offense to the quality UF fans on here). I wouldn't want to change the locale (it's going to be white trash weherver you go. I mean, c'mon, you have Northern Florida and Georgia people getting together and drinking enough to kill a herd of elephants. The trashiness is going to ooze out in tub fulls) but I don't particularly look forward to attending that game either. Maybe if the series wasn't so lopsided these past 20 years I'd think differently

I love the cocktail party and hope it stays in Jax forever. It is just so unique and it gives an already storied rivalry another feather in its cap. Sounds like the Auburn fan had a really bad experience all the way around, but if you're an actual fan of one of the teams it's an incredible little fall vacation.

The most enjoyable part of the whole trip to me is staying in Jekyll or one of the other Golden Isles, and partying beforehand. As soon as I step in the stadium I'm a fricking mess. I can't enjoy that game for shite, and I've watched us win two of them out of the three times I've gone. I'm going again this year because my GF is from Gainesville, grew up a Gator fan, is now going to UGA and has never experienced a Cocktail Party so I'm taking her down there with some folks. But come 3 PM Saturday, October 29th, I'll be fricking miserable

I'm similar in that I rarely enjoy myself in the stadium. We could be up 30 and I would still be a nervous wreck. 07 was cool, but I only really relaxed after we clinched it late. Last year was a tremendous game to watch and we had an awesome second half comeback, but once we went into OT I had to watch it standing in the tunnel because I knew what was going to happen.

But the whole weekend itself is incredible and I hope it never changes.
