There was a National Title game in 2003, USC was not in it. End of convo.

Jesus. The fact that Ole' Miss has to lie about titles from back in the damn 50s and 60s says a lot about their program. Good Lord, have some self respect.

You have tried that already jackass. Ole miss' best efforts at cheating didn't even win them an sec west title. Yall don't have what it takes man, not enough money, fan support, resources, etc to compete with the big boys consistently. Yall are a joke and will never be the cream of the crop in comparison to the other big time programs in the sec...No matter how much you cheat.

Of all the No. 1 awards currently in existence, the three that are most eagerly sought - and all about equally - are those of the Football Writers, the UPI, and the AP. - Sports Illustrated, 09/10/67

Show the crystal football we have from that season as well. Lol, we aren't making false claims for football titles. What is that supposed to prove? LSU has a couple more we could claim in football, but we don't. Your argument doesn't hold water.

Ok? You showed a pic of some trophy that LSU fans don't even know we have. We have the 1 and only crystal football from that season. We beat the dogshit out of Ohio state in the title game. What water are you trying to lead me to? We lost 2 games that we shouldnt have to inferior teams in 3 ots, however, other teams in contention that season lost games as well and we were the best contender to play Ohio st and proved it to be true in the title game. Like that wasn't a legitimate national title or something? LSU was the best football team in the country that season. Get real.

No.

The Bowl Coalition and the Bowl Alliance would take precedence beginning in 1992. The BCS website even considered those NCGs to be BCS matchups.

pretty good list, but I'd put Urban and Vaught ahead of Dye and in that order

Spurrier at 1 and Dooley at 2 is spot on

It was prior to Arkansas joining the league, but is in that time frame. Besides, I think the man needs mentioning because what he did was legit.
