HTF could you possibly know this?

what we have on the inside plus what's coming off the edge? Our inside guys are ever bit as stout as MSU, lets say I give the the edge...

The combo of Bequette and Wright is probably the top set of DE's in the SEC (In the 4-3)...

This thread is silly. Imagine that. The pigs saying theyre the best. State may have a couple of all sec lineman, but the best overall line????
Mingo and Montgomery are going to be QB nightmares this year. And NIH, you are a solid poster, but if you think dline depth is overrated, you obviously didn't watch LSU during 07. Our Dline depth played a huge role in a lit of games. To me, having a deep Dline of fast guys is one of the keys to SEC football

LSU may be there, but I can't put them there. Too many questions. Is Montgomery the same? reports are good, but lets see that knee with contact. Mingo, will be amazing if he gets some weight on his frame. Brockers, just don't know how he'll do at 6'6 DT, at best a run-stopper, right now, but could blow up. Downs, heck, he hasn't stayed in games to know anything. Chauncey....meh. Freak Johnson...Stud, but a true Freshman. Maclin, promise, but young. Davenport moved to O-line. Edwards....Is he still on the team...LOL!..j/k. Logan,Allen, and Ego could step up, but not proven. Good group of kids, but its hard to project them as best in SEC, cause they are so young. Future looks awesome, but have to reserve judgement at this point.

If Clowney can pan out in any similar way that Lattimore did his freshman year.. the Gamecocks will be one hell of a spectacle to watch this season.

You can flip me off all you want, but until your team and fans stop using LSU as your NC, and win a bowl game, I can't take you seriously. I mean shite, it's obvious how envious y'all are of LSU. Its like y'all have won a couple of head to head games recently, so you hate hearing LSU get praised. You won so why can't you get compliments?? Well, gather the accolades that our program has, and you will have something to stick your chest out about. Until then, stfu.

Outside of Dorsey & Jackson that line was mediocre. Francois was great in New Orleans as we saw. Favorite was OK, Alem was good in situation. Just nothing special outside of the top two.

I thought glen Dorsey did alright. Point is, a deep rotation of fresh big boys comes in handy late in these defensive struggle games

I see your edit, but you get my point?

This is funny...why can't YOU give credit where credit is due? We have a legit top DL and it breaks the little tiggers hearts to hear that ...so you have to turn up your nose in your 4 year old voice and say "well..well...my program is better than yours"

Houston Nutt led us to believe we couldn't acheive better than 7th or 8th in the conference...well, we have a different mind set now and it starts with our coach...congrats on your past acolades though.

I appreciate the congrats, no matter how facetious it was. We lost a star QB in RP, and forgive me but don't most National Champs have a slump the next year? Being as Unbiased as possible, you can tell me we wouldnt have one more NC with good QB play. But youll notice, while you have been trending up,so have we. And we won one more than you last year. I'd say our QB position looks brighter now and I think we'll keep the trend up. Goodnight sugatown.

LSU's line has a lot to prove, but Arky can say they are the best in something on defense when they prove it. In the past 8 years (thats all the research I wanted to do) Arky has never had better overall defensive stats than LSU.

I'd say:

1. SC
2. State
3. UPig

a close 4-5-6 would be UF, LSU, and Bammer

Starters play at least 50 snaps, while the back-ups usually play 20 on average. Depth plays a part more when injuries happen, rather than just getting time on a Saturday.

I know it's hard to imagine State being the best in the SEC at something, but both of our DT's will most likely come out early for the draft next April
