He did well for himself and lives in Key West these days. Good guy.

But Fred's was by far the best college bar at LSU when was there 10 years ago
I had fun times as Fred’s and the bar next door to it when I went for the AU games in 07 and 09.

For Columbia, I was always a fan of Salty Nut and Bar None. Pavlov's was a good place to score a gram of blow and pick up a drunk sorority girl.

Good to hear. If you ever talk to him tell him JMac said hello.

Love these kinds of stories. I’m a musician and played all over the SEC. Loved playing BR. The Varsity in BR was cool to play because it was such a big stage but my favorite was Chelsea’s when it was at the North Gate location. Still keep up with Dave Remmeter who owned it. It is the reason to this day that my second favorite team in the SEC is LSU as unorthodox as that is as a Rebel. Love the people down there.

It makes me fricking sad that Two Keys closed for good. Haven't been in Lexington for years, but in school there that was my spot.
Hope Hugh arse Burgers, with those sweet potato fries and marshmallow cream sauce and Sav's are still open.

Uptown Lounge was a pretty cool place.
Walked by there today and told my wife that the freshmen used to get trashed there.
Looks like Flanagan’s is still holding up somehow?
Slightly off topic: is The Grill officially dead, or are they still trying to come back?
