I'm not going to start a pissing match here, but if you were to give your backs and our backs a 1-10 grade on their talent and add it all up, we'd edge you out.

Mainly because of the strength of our 3-7 backs compared to yours, but there isn't a more talented backfield in the country overall than the one at alabama. And I realize how much the rant hates to hear that but i'm just saying

At best you could call it a draw... Yeldon underperformed this year compared to expectation, yet so did Gurley. Gurley was playing on a serious injury that, in hindsight, shouldn't have been playing. Close people to the program say Gurley probably wouldn't have played again this year until Marshall tore his ACL, then we were kind of fricked. In that sense, your 3rd and 4th string rb's are probably better than ours in 2013, but in 2014 our 3rd and 4th string guys will also be 5 star with the introduction of Chubb and Michel, along with your loss of AK47.

Yeldon/Henry = Pretty damn scary

It'll be a trio with Drake involved.

Marshall*/CAP/Grant will be insane too.

*- Marshall is a QB. Well, sort of. He's a DB playing QB like a RB.

I was looking at something today and came across his stats for the year:
36 Carries
382 yards
10.6 yards per carry
3 TDs (long of 80 yards)

1 catch
61 yards
1 TD

This kid averaged 12 yards per touch as a RUNNING BACK as a Freshman?! Wow. Gotta give props.

Impressive, no doubt, but when you look at the opponents most of that came against and the time in the game most of that happened...yeah.

The SEC is one solid league. What a group of backs for Defenses to face. Its going to be a high scoring league next year.

He could've down a lot more damage too...he said in an interview that he was ready to go way earlier in the season.

Yeah you could have just left it off after Gurley. Healthy, he is better than any tandem.

Henry/Yeldon/Drake but hopefully more Drake than Yeldon and a shite ton of Henry.

I'd agree that, just going off this year, a Henry/Drake/Yeldon pecking order looks like the best arrangement for Bama.

Will be interested to see how Tyren looks coming off that injury as well.

If Yeldon doesn't fix his fumbleitis than he's just gonna keep falling further down and giving opportunities to guys like Tyren. Same with Drake too he's fumbled just as much as TJ and that could start giving Tyren even more chance to show what he can do.
