Best Gameday Atmosphere
For an away SEC football game you've been to

I always enjoy the AU/LSU game every other year in Corndog Rouge. It is a trip I always look forward to and always enjoy. I also enjoy when LSU is at our house as well.
My second fave would have to be UF only because I know a prof there that I used to date back in the day.

favorite campus is UGA
favorite atmosphere would have to be Bama

on a side note, Gainesville really let me down...I was expecting alot! Maybe it will be better this year?

nope. the pre-game atmosphere sucks in Gainesville... then the games starts and it's a whole different level.

Yeah, that's gonna happen.

Best roadtrip so far been to Ole Miss. But I haven't been to a lot of LSU away games, hope to change that soon.

Out of UGA, Bama, & Ole Miss, from last fall, UGA clearly had the best pregame atmosphere/setup/vibe.

For me personally, I absolutely loved Athens and thought Sanford stadium was cool, but tailgating was pretty weak. Could have just been that they were playing us in an early game though

Alabama is my favorite. The atmosphere outside the stadium is great and the only trouble I've ever run into was some kid wearing skateboard shoes and Under Armor wristbands on his forearms barking "LSwho?" in my face. I give him credit for coming up with an insult that was so unique and creative that has literally never been used before by any other fanbase EVER, but it was a bit annoying.

The two times I've been there I've been a little disappointed with the tailgating as well.

Playing in the west will spoil you for tailgating. UT is prolly the best in the east at that.

I really liked that there were some really cool places to get a noon drink and watch some t.v. that were pretty much just across the street from the actual campus, which was packed with a bunch of UGA tents and hot Nordic looking babes in black or red dresses. You could just drift back and forth. It was tons of fun, and without all the Im-crammed-in-this-crowded-corner-way-away-from-everywhere-else feeling that you sometimes get at other schools.

I used to love Bama when I had a friend who lived in an apartment real close to Bryant-Denny, but when I went back last year, it seemed kind of weak before the game. I think I've just outgrown Tuscaloosa.

I haven't been to many away games, but I'd have to say Alabama or Ole Miss.

I actually thought the atmosphere before the game was great last year. But that could be because I was pretty drunk.

Not sure I get it.

I was 19 and on booze, bud, and bars. I'm a lil older now. And wiser.
