Vanderbilt vs Furman is the only game I've been to that didn't involve my team.

I was at the '04 LSU Auburn game that was a pretty crazy stadium for the 4th quarter. Great game

I saw Auburn beat VT to go undefeated. It wasn't a great game as Auburn was easily in control the whole game, but it was significant in Auburn history. It was also cool because I went with my dad who is an Auburn Alum.

2001 Miami at Virginia Tech...VT was down 8 late and blocked a punt and took it in for the TD and then dropped the 2 point conversion that would have tied it if I remember correctly...crazy atmosphere

If I can count Colorado, since they are probably my second team, I would say Colorado/West Virginia 2008. It wasn't a great game, really, but CU won, making it instantly legendary around these parts.

Now that I think about it, I've only been to one major college football game that didn't involve the Tigers. Texas A&M vs. Michigan at the Big House in 1970.
A&M under Gene Stallings only won two games that year, but one of them being the week before against LSU on a last second 80 yard hail mary pass; Michigan under "Bo" Schembechler went 9-1 that year. Incidently, Michigan won the game I saw 14-10.

2003 #1 Oklahoma @ Alabama
It was a close game until the 4th quarter when Oklahoma pulled it out.

Sorry Dawg but the Georgia at LSU game in 2003. When your guys scored a td and took the lead 92,400 LSU fans started chanting LSU, LSU, LSU.
We let the team know we were behind them and they responded with a Skyler Green touchdown to win the game.
That game was the key win for a team that won the BCS Championship.

i mean... i've been to a game where UT took us to like 5 OT's... we lost, but it was a "good game" i guess. i don't know, i think that's probably best under the "worst" games category ;)
