Auburn has IMO the most electric atmosphere in college football during big games when it's competitive.
How many others stadiums have you been to in all seriousness? Making my first trip to auburn this year..can't wait

My gripe about UT is their expansions always including shrinking the seats 2-5 inches.
THIS. I've been going to games there since 94.

to those saying Jordan Hare can get electric for a big game is correct. I went during the Cam Newton year and the Auburn-LSU game was a tug of war close. Very loud.

Haven't been to Florida's stadium since about 1986 and didn't care for it much. Went to the debacle at Auburn 2006 and have to admit that JH was super easy to get to your seat - tons of leg room in the upper deck. Loved that.
Tiger Stadium has more character though.
A&M in the early 90's was a blazing hot hell-hole. Looks improved since then though.

Been to every stadium in the SEC, with the exception of Mizzou and A&M. Excluding the homer pick of Sanford:
Loved Death Valley. My favorite stadium other than Sanford. Great atmosphere. Fun tailgating. By far the best time I've had other than Sanford.
Jordan Hare is pretty good as well. Pretty good atmosphere. Would probably rank higher if Auburn was a better town. Tailgating was meh. Crowd gets very loud, however.
Ben Hill Griffin has great seating and good sight lines. Don' really like the stadium itself in terms of design. Went twice for FSU and Miami games. Got pretty loud.
Liked UK, Vandy, and Arkansas OK. Lexington is a nice town. Nashville is fun. Was impressed with Fayetteville as well. Bama was okay, but I went before the addition. Tailgating at Bama was great though.
Miss. State was pretty bad (terrible stadium). Ole Miss was a better experience, but stadium was underwhelming as well, although I don't see what all the fuss is about with the Grove.
The absolute worst are Neyland and Williams Brice. Neyland has you packed in like sardines. Williams Brice is the worst. Terrible stadium and even worse location, unless you're into warehouses and crappy fairgrounds.

I've been everywhere but Missouri. Rather than best/worst absolutes, I'll just acknowledge that tastes are different, but that on the whole, there are some things that are obvious after visiting:
Worst ratio of People to Seat Size: Tennessee. They're working on fixing it, I hear, but Neyland is awful in that regard. A lovely setting, though.
Most Underrated Nowhere Game: Anchor Down with 500 of your closest friends in Nashville; you might end up in sun-field bleachers, but the Vandy core of fans are excellent people, and the stadium is the best of the bottom group. I expected to like Lexington, Williams-Brice, or either of the Mississippi graveyards better, but Vandy came out ahead of them all.
Most Overrated: Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge. Yes, it's loud; yes the people are nasty; yes, it is a fun place to get tanked on a Saturday night-- but as a football stadium, it disappoints. Second place-- Kyle Field, and the shite-bats.
Most 'Just Like You Imagined It' -- Georgia gets the nod here. A quality stadium, that presents a good image, and lives up to it on gameday.

Really impressive - all the stadiums in the SEC. And by the sound of it they're all getting even better.
Won't comment on TS but I'm a huge fan of the Swamp. IMO, aesthetics don't carry much weight; it's more about function which is about noise.
Never been to JH, but almost every (LSU) Tiger fan who's been comes away impressed with the atmosphere. Watching the video clip of the Auburn band during Davis's return is such a reminder of what a great sport CFB is.

You obviously haven't been there recently, they've torn down all the old abandoned asbestos factories and built acres and acres of manicured grounds for tailgating, it's actually really really nice now.
Even though it's miles from the downtown scene, the way the tailgates set up now, it's like a little town is built around the stadium all day and night.
It does lack a true downtown type of atmosphere, but the stadium itself is very nice and very well run. There's no line to get in, no line to get out, plenty of gates and staff to check tickets etc, well marked sections and pathways for visitors, no lines at bathrooms or concessions, and this is a sold out game vs their second biggest rival UGA in 2012, from a facility standpoint it was really great.
Again, the fans ruin it. No class.

Auburn - Not that pretty but good solid nice size with great steep seating and sight lines. Hate to admit it but loud as frick stadium for big games.
I took some FSU buddies to an Auburn/FSU game back in the late '80's. These were people who had followed FSU all around the country watching them. They told me that was the loudest stadium they had ever been in.

So you liked Vandy and hated Tiger Stadium

Congrats on beating Curley Hallman's teams....everyone else did too. What you fail to realize is while every other team beat LSU, Kyle Field was the only shite hole...
Understand now?

Compared to how they're popularly perceived, yes; if you had bothered to read, you'd notice particularly that Vandy was given a specific context. Maybe Williams-Brice has caught up to it among the bottom half, but it would still need improvement.

Admittedly, I haven't been in a few years, so it sounds like they have made some improvements . The fans are terrible, but that comes with the territory. That being said, I still maintain it's a crap stadium, unless they have made some major changes.

I've heard the atmosphere at Neyland stadium is terrible compared to those found in the rest of the conference save Vandy or kentucky
The seating is garbage in places, but your statement is beyond laughable. Neyland has one of the best atmospheres and crowds in the SEC. When it's rocking, it's up there with the best in the country. Even with the worst 5 years in program history it's still imposing. Being garbage since 08 doesn't help though
