Who’s Burrell? Is the same as Dalvin White?

Really gotta step your game up. You’re more pathetic than usual, which has to be harder to do then putting a shattered pelvis back together.

Yeah then the title is too long and looks unappealing.

I should have went with Ingram and Julio. Definitely the answer.

I might have gone with Cornelius Bennett and Derrick Thomas. 25 great seasons between them and Thomas had several good years left when he died. Bennett was a tackling machine.
And even if Thomas had only played another 4 seasons, he probably would be 3rd on the all time sack list behind Bruce Smith and Reggie White. (And Smith played almost 20 years.)

ETA - Looking at stats for some of these guys, White had 198 sacks in 15 seasons. There may never be a more dominant LDE in my lifetime.

Thomas and Sanders maybe?

That is the correct answer to this question if not constrained to the SEC. Although, they weren't really a duo. Thomas had the lion's share of carries while there. Sanders did have the best individual year in the history of CFB as a RB when he finally got the lead role. Both were monsters in the pros. It is a travesty to all football fans that Sanders was stuck with the Lions. Replace E. Smith with Sanders on those 90s Cowboy teams and it's hard to imagine how well he would have done.

But, the UGA duo is best in FBS in terms if pure yardage.

quote:

Georgia's senior running back duo of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are second to none in FBS history. In the third quarter of the Rose Bowl between Georgia and Oklahoma, the Bulldogs' backfield tandem became the all-time FBS leaders in career rushing yards by a pair of running back teammates, surpassing SMU's Eric Dickerson and Craig James (8,193 yards).
NCAA.com

The article doesn't show the # of games played or Avg. Per carry for the duo. But, you have to think Chubb and Michel had more games and total carries than the others given the change in format between the Pony Express and today. Also, only having 3 years compared to 4 years likely means McFadden and Jones are the best duo in FBS history in terms of college production.

Of best RB duos, that Arky backfield was so good that Peyton Hillis was hardly noticed until he got to the pros. Bush and White were very similar, but I liked the Arky duo better. Those USC teams had a lot more surrounding star power. Brown and Cadillac are another good SEC duo, but they dont have the combined yardage of the above.
