Clowney has got to be the most overrated SEC player in the last decade.

Good thing the only game he played in was against LSU last year.

This comment.... you sound like the only game of his that you watched was LSU. A game in which he didn't play poorly... Oh and FWIW literally every NFL scout disagrees with you

Clowney

And then a large group of possibilities including Mosley, A.J. Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Denzel Nkemdiche, Louchiez Purifory, Marcus Roberson, Damian Swann, Jordan Jenkins, Haha Clinton-Dix, Adrian Hubbard, Craig Loston, maybe a few more.

Everyone else

I'm gonna go with Craig Loston, the leader of the LSU secondary.

Sure about that?

Swing and a miss...loston. Way to get shook by a freshman.

That was actually Jalen Mills' assignment (another true freshman).. sure Loston didn't do a great job trying to make up ground.. but just clarifying.

I think Jalen Mills will be in this discussion when the season is over.

Simply put Chaz Sutton is probably the most underrated returning defender in the league this year. Originally committed to Florida but recruited heavily by Bama at the time, now he is opposite Clowney and overlooked. No bias, just the way it is. You do the math.

He has definitely shown talent in the snaps he has gotten.

The difference between Clowney and everyone else is big enough to where #2 doesn't matter.

I don't find that to be true at all. He has had games where he didn't dazzle. Like the LSU game in 2012. While he is far-and-away the SEC's best defensive player, there are several others that are right up there. And still others than will emerge in 2013.

So you name one guy? He said 'not many guys have...' and you come up with one guy? You're helping him prove his point.
