LSU will have some serious talent next year and hopefully it continues.

Arky is not a top tier basketball program guys.

17th on that list posted earlier doesn't make you top tier.

Arkansas:
________________________________________

33rd - All-time Wins

19th - All-time Win Pct.

35th - All-time NCAA Tourny Win Pct.

15th - All-time NCAA Tourny Games

16th - All-time NCAA Tourny Wins

Sorry guys, gotta make at least ONE top 10 list to be considered a top tier program historically.

His jumper was deadly.

Pete Maravich

I could easily make the argument that he is one of the best to ever come out of the SEC...or college for that matter. His records will never be broken.

Best college player IMO for us was Doug Smith. Complete bust in the NBA.

Deandre Jordan was not good when he played for the Ags. He didn't even start.

I attribute that to coach Mark "I'm a whiny little bitch" Turgeon.

For me my Favorite player and one of the most talented to lace them up at LSU was Dewayne Scales.

He was never drafted in 2005. I think he is playing in Europe.

For LSU we have to include Rudy Macklin also, one of the all time greats here.

Good player with one excellent skill(shotblocking) but nowhere near the best. Moultrie is a much better overall player than Varnado IMO

In my lifetime, it has to be Erick Dampier, followed by Dontae Jones(wasted talent)... Watch Jones' Dunk @ 0:52

Mario Austin is better than all them.

That team that had Macklin and Scales was really good. They beat us in a very close game in the late 70s IIRC.

Arkansas's best players are Sidney Moncrief, Corliss Williamson, Todd Day, Ron Brewer, and Alvin Robertson.

Before he was plagued with injuries Randy Livingston was a badass.

Johnny Neumann 1970-71 season:

G - Johnny Neumann (6-7, So.) 40.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg

Included a 63 pt game against a Maravich-led LSU squad.

From AP: "The 6-foot-6 sophomore sharpshooter for Ole Miss threw in 63 points in leading the Rebels over Louisiana State 113-90 Saturday."

Bailey Howell belongs in the same category with Maravich. Both all-time SEC first teamers. Bailey still has many SEC records that are now 50+ years old with no signs of being broken, and all that was before the three point or shot clock era. Averaged 27ppg and 17rpg for his entire SEC career. Went 2nd overall in NBA draft, played in the league 12 years, has 2 rings, 6 all-star games, and is in the Hall of Fame...

Haven't you heard? Arkansas is a superior football program to Florida based on what they did in a conference that no longer exists.

Notre Dame level delusion out of NWA... who is surprised?
