Best - 1993 Sugar Bowl. Absolutely destroying a Miami team trying to go back to back undefeated and led by Heisman (and most everything else) winner Gino Toretta was as good as it gets.

Worst - 1983 Penn State when Bama came back from down 34-7 at the start of the 4th to roar back to what should have been a 35-34 win - only to have it stolen by what still may be the worst call I've ever seen.

Best - Kinda weird, I know, but in recent times (past few years) the best I've ever felt was after last year's OT loss to UGA. The reason being, our team left it all on the field in a way I hadn't seen in a long damn time. It was a heart-breaker but I was so damned proud at the same time. Even a few undisputed fantastic UT teams have done less in terms of giving it their all. And what made the UGA/UT game even more special is that the fans universally recognized and applauded it.

SRSLY?

A loss was a better feeling than winning your first National Title since Neyland?

Best was 2010 win against LSU in Little Rock to go to the Sugar Bowl.
I was at that game. Got sugar packets thrown at us on the way out. Miserable at the time, but fun when I look back on it.

Best Ever Oregon NC game
Best this year- UGA, we had piss choked away a blowout only to win.

Worst- FSU NC game, had them blown out until a fricking fake punt and a kick off return for td.

I was there (hell, you can see me on the second row in the endzone they run the kick back to. I was right behind the camera guy just to the side of the upright) but I didn't really feel bad. All I could do was laugh. Probably helped knowing I was going to Vegas early the next morning.

I wasn't there but kinda had the same reaction. It was weird not being upset over the loss, and it still doesn't bother me that much.

Best:

- Clinching the SEC East against Texas A&M in 2013. Winning the east in year two after all the garbage Big 12 fans gave Mizzou was awesome.

- Basketball: whipping a very good Memphis team in the 2008 Sweet 16. That's the best game I've seen a Mizzou team play in the tournament.

Worst:

- Football: Losing to OU in the 2007 Big 12 title game. I think Mizzou beats Ohio State in the title game that year, but they completely choked against a beatable OU team that ended up getting embarrassed by West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl. Auburn was a worthy opponent in 2013 and I'm not sure Mizzou beats Florida State.

- Basketball: Norfolk fricking State.

Best: 2013 BCSCG - Not sure I'll ever be able to top seeing Alabama destroy ND in a NC game to win a second straight title. Growing up, I'd always wanted to see UA play them for a title. As a fan, you always want to see your team reach that point. Its surreal.

Worst: 2013 Auburn - My inner-bammer died that day. It wasn't the loss...it was the way we lost.

Dude, the last few years of Vol football have turned your football world upside down.

No, wins are fleeting things. The 98 UF victory was the most euphoric but euphoria is fleeting. The win we played badly and the loss we gave it our all - those things stick. Then again, we take to heart the sign over the lockeroom exit, "I will give my all for Tennessee today." It's a part of our program's psyche.

Winning is something I've seen so much of that it all blurs together - it's expected to the point of taking it for granted despite the past few years. I have no doubt we'll be back and our history is as such that a few down years doesn't change my mindset. Losing sucks 99 percent of the time but that too isn't something that makes me feel bad for more than an hour.

The two games I mentioned, however, stuck with me emotionally for a longer time than even the sweetest victory or the biggest blowout loss. And they're two still etched in my mind. They were the epitome of a playing an awful game despite talent and playing a great game despite talent. One gave all and one gave nothing.

Knowing firsthand how awful Dooley really was in more ways than just coaching players - the losses there just don't phase me. We'll be back soon enough.

Best: 2012 sec championship.

Getting on my phone to buy my flight to Miami right after the game was fun. Incredible game to watch too.

Worst: probably 2002 Auburn(fricking Fran) or 2005 auburn(fun year ruined by that game).

The loss to ATM in 2012 didn't bother me too much. I was at he game and enjoyed seeing JFF become a superstar.

The loss to 2013 Auburn didn't bother me too much either. We had a good run, had 8 chances to win but didn't do the small things right.

Yep. See my other explanation but after UF went down every Vol fan knew we'd be champions. FSU was just in the way. Don't get me wrong - those wins were pure euphoria - but euphoria doesn't last. The other ones stuck for far longer.

Best: Beating UF in the Swamp in '10 to book our trip to Atlanta.

Worst: 63-17.

If we're just talking about football anyways.
