No, what's sad is you lecturing Alabama grads who are much more familiar with the history of the University of Alabama system about how and why the UA system is set up the way it is. Your implication that the main campus has absolutely no connection to its medical school in Birmingham just isn't correct. You qualify the endowment rankings by mentioning the system but don't likewise qualify schools that divide their system's R&D between their different campuses. Just saying it's a consideration when looking at things like R&D rankings just as it is when looking at endowment rankings.

As far as OOC, you've played UCLA, ASU
Both teams were ranked 16 when we played. You can't bash those games and then acquiesce to the media narrative of t.u. being "back" because they beat a horribly overrated Notre Dame team ranked 11th who finished 4-8.

An LSU fan saying Oklahoma and Alabama fans are bad is like Kim Jong-Un calling Mother Teresa a terrorist. LSU fans are the worst! Especially when they are playing for a championship or big bowl in their own state.
You expected LSU fans to treat you like royalty on bourbon street? When I was down in New Orleans a lot of the OU fans there were the most thin skinned smug pieces of crap I've ever seen.

If OU is unhappy, I like the idea of them applying for the PAC 12.
Oh wait,
They did and were turned down.
Must not be the prize they think they are.

we are already watered down enough with the sjw crowd and the brokeback cowboys. if we are forced to add more at least they need to regionally actually be in the SE.

They were just pissed off because you didn't buy any of their corn dogs or pay to throw darts at their balloons.

it is not me making the qualifications or the rankings, not sure why you keep implying as much? When you read enough of these type lists it is the raking source that qualifies between say Missouri - Columbia and Missouri - the state system. You do understand it is the one ranking that makes this distinction and not me, correct? I am just highlighting that this is how the creators of the rankings did it.
Look at the ARWU
As example look at Texas system schools (not including TAMU system schools)
#29 UT Dallas (SW Med Center)
#30 UT Austin (P5 B12 member)
#48 UT Houston (M D Anderson)
#72 UT Houston (not MD Anderson)
#99 UT San Antonino
#120 UT Galveston
All of which are ranked ahead of say West Virginia on their own
Switching back to Alabama and this list
72-98 Alabama - Birmingham
NR Alabama - Huntsville
NR Alabama - Tuscaloosa
Again, don't blame the messenger for the message. As a Alabama grad you are aware the current UK president is the former dean and provost at UAB.

You play a cup cake schedule with 2 or 3 tough games sprinkled in. Your team would in no way hold up to 8 rigorous conference games plus ooc.
You aggies lost to a middle of the pack big 12 team that OU ran off the field lol.
All while OU manhandled your second best team in the SEC west in a bowl game OU players didn't even care to be in.
OU has no issues beating SEC teams Idiot.

Too bad you'll never be SEC. It is up to A&M whether you join or not.

Sadly for you, A&M and Oklahoma leadership have a great relationship along with MU also. Buckle up...

You better hope. Could you imagine how much more empty your stadium would be after OU and LSU got done with Aggie every season????

I'm not "blaming" you as much as I am your use of the ranking to justify your snarky implication that Bama/Auburn are the cellar dwellars of the conference academically because of the R&D ranking. My main point is that the University of Alabama system like many university systems was set up in a way that took advantage of the strengths of the cities in which they were set up to economically bolster the state as a whole. The R&D is spread out among the 3 campuses whereas some state schools have practically all R&D on one campus. For example, a lot of aerospace engineering R&D is concentrated at the Huntsville campus (UAH) for very obvious reasons. Another example involves part of the UAB medical programs being integrated into classes on the main campus and there being a University of Alabama School of Medicine. It's very interconnected and not as easy as UA and UAH suck because they're not ranked in the R&D ranking. UAB as a whole is certainly not anymore prestigious than UAT just because they technically get to take credit for all the medical R&D just because the main campus decided to move the University of Alabama School of Medicine to downtown Birmingham due to a large hospital and large population base already being there. That's my only point.
P.S. The Baylor Medical Houston example you cite doesn't really matter. The fact is it's still Baylor University's medical school regardless of if it's in Houston, Dallas, etc

Oh really?
OU owns a better winning percentage vs A&M than LSU, and handed you the most humiliating loss in d1 history. You want no part of OU and we all know it.
Oh yea 77-0 dur hur

Pretty much every OU/A&M game I've attended recently has resulted in an A&M win.
Please don't mention that 77-0 game when I was in 4th grade. I can't bear it!
