I'm glad you brought up this thread. I want to shine a light on his time at UCLA.
He was at the top basketball program in the nation. A program that has more national championships then any other program in the entire nation.
In 2008 he had kevin love and lost to an upstart team in the final 4 to Memphis. Who was coaching at memphis you ask? That'd right John Calapari.
News flash, if he can't win a national championship at UCLA against John with superior talent, then he's not going to Do it with subpar talent at miss. State.

Since we added Arky and USC (e), Ole Muss has never been "the football school".
Coincidentally, they've also never been the basketball school, or baseball school.
They ARE the school for plastic chandeliers and catfish sushi though -- so they have that going for them.
