Thank the good lord.

Starting 5: Releford, Lacey, Randolph, Pollard, Jacobs

Reserve: Steele, Cooper, Engstrom, Gueye, Obasohan

LINK

Eblen is a good kid, but he just doesn't help our team.

Yeah, it was like playing 4 on 5 when we were on offense. Still, I would've liked to see him return for depth. I think we're down to 10 scholarship players for the season. The good news is that all 10 could be in the rotation.

He was a good kid, and a great defensive player. Couldn't shoot worth a damn though. I wish him the best.

You and everybody else. Lacey and Steele will both act as PGs when Releford needs a break. Lacy primarily.

Retin will be the backup PG I'm pretty sure.

I think Lacey will and Steele take over as a SF/G but it is possible Retin Obasohan could play PG as well. Lacey played it as a Freshman though is why I say that. Having a reserve team of Steele, Obasohan, Cooper, and the 2 7 footers Gueye and Engstrom is not too shabby.

I wish him the best. He couldn't shoot worth a damn, but he always gave 100% effort every minute that he was on the court. Roll Tide Ben Eblen, Roll Tide.

I'm sure it's a playing time issue but that sort of sucks, we need the bodies.

Guard is a place where we have enough bodies. It's the post where we can't have any attrition.

Good luck to him. He wouldn't have been playing last year if we didn't need him. So, thanks to him for the effort. Hopefully he's leaving because he sees the other guys are so much better than him now that he'll never get off the bench.

Agreed. Thats why Pollard is basically taking over for Jamychal in a sense... Tony would have been helpful as frick... The 7 footers are decent rebounders and provide a threat down low to force no double teams, but Jacobs is the most athletic big man we have. Alabama may run their offense and defense similar to the Heat when their original 5 are on the court. Not that they are anything like the Heat talent wise obviously, but

Releford- Wade
Lacey- Allen
Randolph- Battier
Pollard- James
Jacobs- Bosh

That will be Miami's starting 5 and Alabama's starting 5.

So will he be an early 1st rounder? Could he possibly fall to the second round?
If he falls to 3rd round he will regret this decision.
