Beamer's recruiting

..reminds me of James Franklins early days at Vanderbilt. He built that program on enthusiasm and excitement. I see that same thing in Beamer. He is a players coach who is sincere.....I know people questioned the hire but when all of your NFL guys that came through endorsed him....that's who you have to go with. They know more than anyone what a coach should be.

You really can't dismiss the recruiting and the gameday effort at this point. Beamer may very well be a chip off the old block.

Good to see Carolina fans with some positive momentum. He certainly kept that team together after having some tough games and they are positioning themselves well for next season.

I think he’s off to a great start. He had little to nothing to work with this season, but if given a fair shake, I think he can build something special there.

Did a hell of a job with getting the team to play hard and buy in. Also seems like a guy you just want to root for.

Got a 5 star #1 QB, Spencer Rattler, IMO Rattler was the most accurate passer to ever play at Oklahoma, Stinking Lincoln effed up hugely with Rattler....

I really hate that Drink didn’t pursue Rattler. I get that the guy has some baggage but damn he is good.
Now we are stuck with ballsack, two guys who couldn’t beat out ballsack and a true freshman. That sucks worse considering our WR room is loaded and we might not have anyone to get these guys the ball.
Hope we go after Nix or the kid from USC

We may have our highest recruiting class since 2014 (I believe this was the stat I read the other day). I've criticized Beamer for some things but the recruiting has been fun to see.
Now we need to take the momentum and build with it. That's the next step to all of this. Coaches who don't give af about recruiting don't last long, just ask someone like Dan "We'll Do Recruiting After The Season" Mullen.

I'll take anything positive at this point associated with the program. Hope we continue to build on it.

His numbers this year thru 5 games were a near mirror or Bazelaks. Only did 5 because that's when he was benched and around the time CB was supposedly "injured".
Rattler had receivers, CB did not.
Not taking away from USC, I think this was a positive gain for them. It would be a push for us, and I think Id rather see Macon.

A lot of people did. Most publications had SC winning 4 games or less. I would say in hind sight y'all had a very good year.
