I mean, give the guy his due. He is "Mr. Detail." He took Bama to the national championship in 3 years! I personally thought they were better last year than they were this year. Is anyone out there similar to him?

Tom Izzo in College Basketball. Teams are always tough and defend.

Dooley is a younger version of Saban. UT and Bama dominate the next decade.

Dooley has had losing records 2 of 3 seasons. Saban has yet to have one in college.

Pelini is the closest thing to Saban in my opinion.

Dooley? Really? I was thinking more Muschamp, maybe.

If it's Pelini, if Miles leaves, I would throw the bank at him to get him back

Saban has assumed almost legendary status in my mind now. I see him as a very heroic figure on par with Lombardi.

Nah I'm thinking more Lombardi, Bear Bryant and Bill Walsh all rolled into one.

He is a great defensive coach but he grabbed the reins of two good programs at the right time.

Let's keep it real.

I wish that everytime a similar post to this one was posted on this board the person that made would get the ban hammer.

I could not be anymore sick of reading and seeing these "I would suck off Nick Saban" threads.

IMO it brings the board down.
