Are all the players taking the early draft option not playing in the Bowl Game?
who is playing, and who is not?

If you were not sitting on the east side, you would never understand it.
I was there with my Dad as a senior in High School. Went to LSU the next year. That was the last game I ever attended with my Dad. Sitting at the goal line on the West side. Brad Davis caught the ball on the east side. I could only tell by the crowd noise that it was a TD. We still had to kick the extra point.
1972 LSU 17-Ole miss 16 on a last play TD from Bert Jones to Brad Davis

2022 defeating Bama at home in overtime on a two point conversion!
I don’t know if those wins include tournament time
Buc-ees is much more than a gas station.
Bert Jones in mid to late 70”s
Bryant’s last loss to LSU was in 1982, but it was NOT in BR, but at Bama. The score was 20-10 and we could only listen on Radio. ESPN replayed the game and probably had as many watchers as listeners on live radio

re: Is JD being penalized?

I am curious about this issue. I thought it was clearly a helmet to helmet hit on our first drive when JD fumbled. Can you explain why that was not a penalty?
Ironic

Graig Nettles

I have been on here a while and graduated from LSU in 1976 and 1980. Craig Nettles was my favorite Yankee. I have had to explain to a few why I have it misspelled, So here I go again. In the 70’s, I misspelled his name often and just continued the tradition. Hope that explains it. It is not ironic, it is intentional.
I know the first Stanza of the Alma Mater, but have to follow the words to remember the rest. It would also be nice for everyone else to sing it, especially those who are Alumni by Choice.

As to the Star Spangled Banner, yes, I think that most people know most of the words, but I also know that many transpose ‘night’ and ‘ fight’.

Lastly, if you were there you would have noticed how few were singing each of the songs as opposed to when they post the words.

why in the heck would anyone not want the words up?
Was this the first game that the words to the Alma Mater and Star Spangled were not posted as the songs were played? I was disappointed.
Tommy Casanova. You had to see him play. As a sophomore he actually played some halfback and was smooth. As a cornerback, he smothered receivers. As a punt returner he was hard to bring down and scored many TD’s.
