Auburn fans, at least, should be able to appreciate the value of a strong conference. If they don't beat an undefeated Bama in the Iron Bowl, there's a strong possibility that Michigan State jumps them with a win over an undefeated OSU. Every little bit helps.

Only a dumb arse SEC fan outside of Bama fans would want Bama to win a National Title(yes if they get in, they'll win it all). Yes lets hope Bama wins a National Title again, that way they can get even better talent. Never understood the conference pride shite. Aren't they ranked #1-#3 in top classes again???

I really think most in the SEC and across the country would rather see someone else win the thing especially since there is NO dominant team this year. If you call Bama dominant your in crimson colored glasses!!!

Well...to be honest in the bowl games I may semi-pull for them, but I won't lose any sleep if the lose. Its one of those bittersweet deals.

Agreed. Four team playoffs with five major conferences. The SEC needs to look strong whenever it plays OOC or in bowls. Espn comment boards all whine about how overrated the SEC is and there will always be a sentiment among some to bump BIG 10 over SEC if possible.

2013 Auburn is the only SEC school I've rooted against in a non-conference game unless you count games where a loss would help Bama.
