And I rooted for Bama for the first time ever last night against Auburn, especially after MSU played themselves out of a playoff spot earlier in the day.
The whole reason we wanted A&M to join the SEC is because we understand that the SEC is the cradle of power in the college football world. Why would I want the SEC to join the ranks of the also-rans with the likes of the Big 12 and Big 10?

Well I'm a little disappointed that we've turned so many people against conference pride. Just a little while back many of you were chanting SEC-SEC-SEC.....How the SEC winning affects conference perception....now it seems that has changed. I actually am not one of the boastful Bama fans but it's laughable how much some of you let the actions of Alabama affect your lives. I can't help but smirk a little bit when I see how Alabama's winnining have caused you to abandon your conference pride. You should be ashamed of yourselves for letting us control you like that.
I guess when you think about it , one can only expect it. All historically winning organizations are generally hated (Yankees, Lakers, Bama Football, Kentucky Basketball) so I guess I'll accept the hatred as a badge of honor for my program. Other than Tennessee, and Auburn most Bama fans will probably still have conference pride. I guess we're just not threatened by another program's success. You see.....we're going to get ours so we really don't give a damn about anyone else.
With that said, I hope all of you muthafricka's win against every out of conference foe you face. Except TN and AU of course....you frickers can burn in hell!

Honestly, Alabama deserves it. They ran the gauntlet this year with the least losses.
I would also dearly love to see FSU make it now since no other SEC team is in contention. I would like nothing better than to see them get murdered in the playoffs.

Well I would definitely like to see a matchup between Bama and TCU. TCU have some pretty good DB's and probably the most explosive offense in the country.
Bama would have the advantage of the Oline. Would like to see Amari against TCU secondary.
