Bama gonna solidify their place this week.
Just keep in mind that LSU was ranked 7th (I think, someone correct me) at this point in '07. Things can and do change.
UGA was in a very similar position to you, ranked #3 when the top 2 teams lost on Championship Game weekend and they were left out.
Not saying it will work out that way, but the hay isn't in the barn just yet.

Really? Bama fans are on track to being right. And, well.. Oregon is not gonna go, Stanford is not gonna go, Boise is not gonna go, Va Tech is not gonna go, and extremely doubtful Okie St is gonna go. As many, many, many Lsu fans have explained they would.
So what you're telling us is that human voters cannot change their minds and vote anyone else in? Ok, carry on with your mind reading and sound logic.

I don't understand why they are ranked in the first place.

So, two teams that are probably better than us ranked lower while two teams that are worse than us ranked higher. Makes complete sense.

They can, however they just don't have a history of that sort of behavior.

Yeah. LSU fans explained that okie state would probably go if certain things happened. It just so happens that everything has gone bama's way so far.

add OU and OSU to this and we were right. All of those scenarios assumed them winning their GD games.
Most people said it would take just the right breaks for Bama to get back in. Just because everything broke right doesn't make those people wrong. There were 5 teams that for all intents and purposes controlled their own destiny on Nov. 6 and they ALL lost games in 2 weeks.
I also wouldn't sleep on a 1 loss OSU until the human polls come out next sunday. Not a good chance, but a chance none the less.

Huge lead for Bama. Very large.
