A&M has the underdog story that people drool about. They went to the #1 at their place and came out with the win, has a highly marketable player with a catchy slogan, has 2 top 10 picks, and a match up with OU aka big 12 championship

You do know it's all about money right?

LSU fans would easily sell up their allotment and buy any remaining tickets.

Just because your player has a cool nickname doesn't mean they will get picked over a team with the exact same record that already beat you.

Fiesta isn't taking A&M over LSU and Florida. I'm sure A&M will be in the discussion (as they alredy are), but when it all comes down to it there's little chance the Fiesta takes A&M over LSU/UF, despite what Brad Edwards predicted.

Slive wouldn't let that happen ... A&M going over two teams with equal or better records, both ranked higher, and that both beat A&M.

What makes a 2 loss A&M more attractive than a 2 loss LSU team? Especially since we have played and beaten you guys this year.

The JFF hype might bring more national attention than a, far the national media is concerned, starless LSU team.

Agreed...although I think Bama as a SECCG loser is a lot more attractive than Georgia as a SECCG loser.

I think if Georgia loses, no BCS for Georgia. But if Bama loses, then Bama gets lumped in with LSU/Florida/A&M all vying for the Fiesta bid.

Next year it's 3-9 for them. Fired coaches, dead trees and bags over their heads.

Wait for it.

Maybe not, but as it currently stands, LSU is probably going to the Fiesta when FSU beats Florida.

Maybe so. But the fact that LSU and UF have both beaten you makes it much less likely that you would get picked over them.

LSU would also bring in a ton more revenue than A&M. just how it is

After losing to UF, UA, and making AU look good, why should LSU be in a BCS bowl?

You are showing how little you know here.
BCS bowls do not care about head to heads. They care about money and ratings. We will travel as well as lsu easily, if not better. Our fan base is beyond hungry. But the x factor is that we might have a heisman winner on our team. If not, we at least have the most exciting player in cfb.

A BCS bowl is not going to pass up a top ten sec team with a heisman level qb. Your win over us is completely irrelevant.

LSU logic blows my mind.

Bama>LSU
LSU>A&M
A&M>Bama

Since the later games matter more via rank

then its A&M>LSU

sure UF won vs us in the FIRST WEEK by 3

LSU lost to them AFTER us by 8

then its

UF>A&M>LSU

feel free to tell me why im wrong
