Battered Aggie Syndrome

Oh man SEC Shorts are going to have fun with the Battered Aggie Syndrome. Then they can throw in "hope" during that last drive by the Aggies.
Marcel Reed won't be seeing any "$4 million" offers. The containment by the Miami DL was great. He didn't have a lane to run through and they didn't over pursue, like Perkins would.
SEC Shorts should be awesome tomorrow.

We have a knack of making bad QBs look phenomenal

He can run in a pinch but QB is a stretch.

Next year’s schedule is brutal. Especially the back end of it.
9-3 would be a solid season in my opinion.

That's a dysfunctional program. A South Carolina football player just lodged a complaint against a security guard for assault-- that guard is facing criminal charges.

I know it doesn’t seem as simple as saying, keep those types of quarterbacks in the pocket, not letting them get outside where they have options. Make them beat you from the pocket, but I do believe it’s a simple as that and we struggle doing so.

Been that way for a long time and through multiple coaches.
Johnny Manziel and Lamar Jackson being exceptions.

I have been watching Tiger football since 1949, and that statement is 100% correct. It doesn't matter who the coaches or players are. It seems to be built into our DNA.

Conversely, we have also historically made some good QBs look bad.

And if he would have ran on second down with 34 seconds left, he likely scored at the end there... or got to the 1 with time to run 2 more plays.

We used to be quite good at this
Mahomes, Lamar, Manziel

9-3 might make the SECCG next year. 12-0s and 11-1s will be few and far between

Ya he hasn't developed inside the pocket like he should have so far. If he's not hitting the deep balls hws a One trick pony. When he beat ND he threw for like 40% but there were multiple big throws down Field. Kinda like how he beat us last year. If he can get 3-4-5 chunk plays w the deep ball so the Safety's can't crash into the box hes tough to beat. But defensive coordinators are Smart and the book is out on him. We've seen this before w QBs who light up defenses for a year or so then get shut down and a few years later they are holding a clip board

Make John Bond the poster child for this statement.
