Oxford is landlocked

Baton Rouge has wonderful beachfront property.

Not travel to a carcinogen spewing, violent, smelly, dump like Baton Rouge?

The town transitioned from an industrial armpit to a violent s#$thole years ago.

I really wish you LSU folks would stop melting trying to explain Lane. It’s pretty simple, he wanted a bigger paycheck for when he gets canned again.

Nope, meh troll attempt.

Could have had the same pay at Ole Miss or more.

It was reported that the salary being offered by LSU, Ole Miss and Florida were the same and that Kiffin was more interested in NIL support.

The big buyout clauses are becoming an industry standard, doubt that played a part either.

I'd say half of BR is a wasteland. The other half is probably nicer than oxford. People complaining about the crime are the people that don't go to Chicago cuz they might get shot. Guys like Lane don't hide in the suburbs and go to longhorn steakhouse friday night.

I mean much of the infrastructure in BR hasn’t changed since the 60s. Not sure this is the talking point many would bring up for LSU being a better job than OM

I lived in Chicago. I wouldn’t even stop for gas in Baton Rouge. Truly an irredeemable shite hole.

Speaks volumes of how bad it must be living in Mississippi that he left for Baton Rouge.

Port-au-Prince is 10X the size of Baton Rouge, but I don't think anyone wants to coach there.
