Jones would be better off to return to RG where he played for two years. Jones is a zone blocker and at OC you have to hit someone every play, not zone block them.

Centers are usually are the weakest play strength wise when it comes to the OL, so that's not much different being a zone blocker...

The OP is either an Auburn fan, an LSU fan, or a fan of laws that allow the mentally challenged to have unsupervised access to library computers.

State bird, lyrics to a chant, and also the term used to describe north Alabama soldiers during the Civil War.

So Mizzou, Bama, LSU, And ole miss all use the civil war as inspiration for a mascot. Interesting.

I'm not even sure that's what inspired the lyrics in the song, considering the state bird is also called a "yellow hammer". I just know some of the units from north Alabama had yellow fabric in their coats and were known for their ferocity in battle. Hence the nickname "yellow hammer".

Yeah seriously. I've never seen a yellow hammer. And no, I don't know the history of alabamas chants.

Eta: thanks everyone else.

A "yellow hammer" would be a great name for a dildo too.

Or an Asian pornstar.
