yet ... it was a rebuilding year. And was probably the best team in 2021. I wish Saban would hurry up and retire.

Best team in 2021…?
They beat Arkansas and LSU, at home, by a TD or less
That was after they lost to Aggy, who lost to every SEC West team outside of the State of Alabama

Yet who was better than Bama? They wiped the floor with Georgia in Atlanta and we know it wasn't A&M.

Most teams' "worst team since.." are in a rebuilding year

Yet it's a paradox. Bama having its worst season in over 10 years, in a rebuild and still arguably the best team. I have no idea how they do it.

Wait I thought 2019 was your worst team

No. 2019 was my best team.

They have a better roster than every team in the country every year.

Every year? That's debatable.

Is that what Saban said?
Well... he also said "No Excuses".
I think he is nearing Joe Paterno stage. Someone call the nurse and tell her to get ready.

In 2008 Bama went 12-0 in the regular season and were an SEC championship win over Florida away from playing for a national title with a bunch of Shula recruits.
Call me crazy, but maybe coaching had something to do with it.

So you're saying Kirby let a guy with dementia beat the shite out of his best team ever in Atlanta last year?

Had a lot to do with the loss last year as well. Didn’t develop any depth at WR, didn’t adjust to the changes UGA made on defense or the OL…

And were an idiot Auburn RB away from losing another Iron Bowl.

Lmao
Bama was the best cfb team in December I'll grant you that.
Unfortunately, for September - November and then January when the big games happened they were not.

Have you been butt hurt your entire life?

quote:Dick slapping the #1 and #4 teams in the country in December is about as good an indication as one can get to who the best team in the country is. It’s not perfect, but it’s significant. You insinuating that those aren’t big games voids any opinion you have in the matter.
Bama was the best cfb team in December I'll grant you that.

I think after the National Championship game Alabama was the best football team in the country. Losing Metchie and Williams was unfortunate.
Georgia is the only team that deserved the title, without question.
But Alabama was most likely the better team.

I'm pretty sure I said he is getting soft.
Making excuses? Does that sound like the Saban machine? Honestly.
My guess is that each year will get softer and softer. Paterno was just a figure head by the end. But it took many years to get there.
If I thought Saban was senile, I would have asked to smell his britches to see if he needs changing. He isn't there... yet.
