Ole Miss will be a tougher game than LSU, but not A&M.

Ole Miss has rolled over in the past, however I think their defense has some confidence this year and will play bama tough! Could very well beat em. OM is getting good and with a few more of those recruiting classes they had last year they WILL be a top ten team if not this year! Bama will have to play it's best game to beat OM but so will OM. So who ever doesn't make mistakes or turns it over probably wins. And I have to say bama plays the better mistake free game usually so.... Bama 31-28. But this bama team isn't the same one we have been seeing!!! Fact! That LSU/bama game will be a good one! God we have some tough games this year!

I think Bama donkey stomps the Black Bears. There's nothing to hide on offense, and no game of significance to look forward to after this one for weeks. Also, Ole Miss grabbed a few blue chips that CNS is used to getting. 45 -17

GTFO:

Honestly, Sabans days are numbered, he's getting old and may even jump to Tejas. There are younger more energetic coaches in the SEC now and most of them are bringing more uptempo fun offenses, so they are going to start getting the recruits. Heck look at what CHF and CGM pulled in this year, next year is looking even better for us and I'm sure Auburn is on the upswing as well. Bama's days of cherry picking recruits is over.

Nope, this will be a dominating performance by Bama. We beat them easily last year (held them to 218 yards) and now know more about Hugh's offense, the games at home, just played a sloppy game and the team will be extremely motivated to perform at a high standard.

37-17 type of game. Will be 24-6 at half and will cruise in the 2nd

Still behind what Bama signed and has committed. While the 7-6 season last year was impressive and this years 4-5 loss season will be even better Ole Miss is still way behind Bama, LSU, TAMU, UGA and even Au in terms of overall recruited Talent.

Maybe one day in the future Ole Miss can get to double digit wins vs Bama but this year you'll still be stuck at 9.

Bama will have no problem putting Ole Miss' offense in their place. Doesn't matter how good a few of the Ole Miss WR's are imo. They dont have a QB like Johnny. That is the ONLY reason A&M has given them fits. Given A&M's lackluster D thanks to Sherman's leftovers, without Johnny's amazing abilities, the last two games with Bama aren't even close. Bo Wallace doesn't keep Saban awake in a pool of sweat each night.

Freeze could not play his complete offense last year. He didn't have the depth to run full speed. While our depth this year is still not where Bamas is, he will be able to pick up the pace. As for the guy who said there is nothing to hide, We have run 1/2 of our offense yet. Freeze has been hiding stuff all year. He was hiding stuff for Texas, but never had to use it. I am in NO way saying that we will beat Alabama, but to say that our offense has nothing to hide and we will only score 17 is a joke. I think we will lose by about 10.

Hear that from multiple fanbases every year.

Everyone's days are numbered and everyone is getting older.

Doubtful.

Younger? True. And?

More energetic? Who knows, who cares. Saban is pretty "energetic."

Alabama has a great offense for recruits who want to get to the league.

Pretty sure Alabama had the consensus number 1 class last year (again) and looks to have it this year (again), with probably the best offensive line class (including the consensus number 1 HS tackle, number 1 center, and a top 5 guard at this point) and a top 5 QB. Alabama is still cherry picking.

No you're not:

This year we had the,

#1 national recruit
#1 WR
#1 OL
#1 Juco

But carry on. If you think you are cherry picking then that's your right I guess.

Can we really tell?

I'd suggest we revisit this after the game.

Also FTR I think y'all win by 3/4 TDs

Ole Miss is a solid, dangerous team and could win, but I still think the A&M game in College Station should be considered tougher at this point. I'm glad this game is in Tuscaloosa.

Yeah this. For the first time in years I feel like OM has more than just a punchers chance at beating Alabama but that isn't because I think OM is great but because this Bama team has not come close to its potential or if it has we're in trouble.

Well, thank you. When Alabama stops getting number one classes, I may concede the point. Until then, I'm going to go with Alabama is still able to cherry pick and get most of the recruits it wants and goes after. Of course there are exceptions, always has been always will be. Nothing has really changed with respect to Alabama's ability to recruit (if anything it is getting stronger) - this is the point you were wrong about (notwithstanding a nice class from Ole Miss last year).

Here's the deal.... All trolling aside, I'm probably as big a fan of Freeze on this board outside of actual Ole Miss fans. You got a bad arse over there.

With that said, until Ole Miss can show me they can be consistent for a full game, I just don't see them winning these type of games. Ole Miss can completely disappear for a quarter or two. Go look at their games last year and the first part of this year. You can't do that against Bama.

As for our game in 2 weeks.... it will be interesting. A&M won despite committing 6 turnovers last year, but you can't say that if A&M is neutral or slightly negative in turnovers they should win again. We will score a lot on the Ole Miss D, but I think Scott and Wallace will zone read our D up their asses. I think it will come down to turnovers and if Ole Miss pulls a Ole Miss and disappears for a quarter or two.
