Meh, our historical rivals will always be Auburn and Tennessee, even if they consistently suck.
While A&M has potential to become an important game, for now LSU has proven they can recruit and play at the top level for a sustained period of time and win despite their coach.
For the time being Alabama and LSU is the most important match up in the West and probably in the SEC. Things can and will change though, just how Tenn vs. Florida was the biggest game in the 90's.

Lets just agree its going to be good football with A&M. and if A&M wins its a budding rivalry.
Re: LSU Call it what you want - the LSU Bama game has been for all the marbles - MNC marbles for a long time. The most watched games and the 2 best teams. year in year out. That trumps playing a rival game the involves arse whippings. Like the spirited Tenn-Bama Rivalry. Maybe not the cultural beyond football rivalry no - but - If LSU Bama isnt a rivalry there isnt such thing.

Everybody should get off the OP's case.
This will be an important game for both teams. Since this is an early season game there is a lot of time for the pre-game banter, etc.
Probably will have Gameday, so yeah this will be a good party to be at!
