Yes, I am sure Bama fans would race to defend a 2020 title for LSU, Georgia, Tenn, etc.
I'm so sure you all would be the first to defend it's "legitimacy"...

I would. Absolutely. If anything, I'd say teams who played in states where they allowed fans all year long had an advantage that season.

Played an all SEC schedule too, no cupcake filler shite

It may have been all SEC, but it was definitely cupcake(maybe worse). It seemed like Bama was the only team that didn’t have a crazy number of opt outs.

That all SEC schedule was the equivalent or rotating ULM and Vandy. It was brave of Bama to finish the season.

Covid was the second most dangerous thing that year after looking at Bama’s schedule.

Counterpoint- if your team won the 2020 title, you wouldn’t claim it?

Chase, Terrace, Tyler Shelvin and Vincent all opted out. All play in the NFL.

and Bama fans still argue to me that their 2020 season is the best all time so we should just remove LSU 2019 from the record books. Also, Mac Jones is a better QB than Joe Burrow because Nick left him in the Championship game long enough to throw for 1 more yard then Burrow.

I had almost come to some tolerance for Bama fans but the whole 2019 vs 2020 and Mac vs Joe thing just exposes their true insecurity and pettiness.

But, 2017 was last title, in a normal year.

"Legit" as in didn't even win their division?

Their 2020 team was disgustingly good

Every team they played were missing key scholarship athletes in 3/4 empty stadiums.

100% would, 100% would know it was abnormal.

I view LSU’s 2019 and 2003 in much higher regard than 2007. 2007 was awesome, but it was borderline hilarious to see a 2 loss team win it.

I would claim an asterisk title* for sure, but I wouldn’t act like the asterisk* isn't there.

Do you typically remember who other teams played in the postseason? I don't.
