So, it's routine to have Alabama players arrested with dope and guns in their car?

Cool.

Where does it say in that post that it's only Alabama players he's referencing? Auburn fans can't read?

No priors. I actually posted a similar prediction to your's (30 days) earlier in the same thread:

As much as I would love to see a weakness in Bama's line there's about a .1% chance they stick him with a felony conviction. It will be pled down to some sort of misdemeanor charge. They have to prove he knew the gun was stolen and likely won't push to ruin a kid's life who has an otherwise clean record. If the give him a chance to provide who he got the gun from and plays the "no snitch" card, that's on him and his loss.

No they don't. He has to prove he didn't know it wasn't stolen. The term affirmative defense puts the burden of proof on him.

I can agree with this, but how that manifests isn't really clear. They very well could offer him a suspended sentence with probation conditions, meaning his record is clean as long as he doesn't get in trouble. That would mean he's not legally ruined, but it would cause a lot of trouble for his football career, especially in the short term.

I think his football career is ruined now. The sad part is that if he can't play ball then what will he do with his life? I mean he has/had his life laid out on a silver platter, free education, clear path to the pro's and he screwed around and fricked it up by being a dumbass.

It's almost like the creators of a website called the SEC rant wanted to create a site where people could "speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way" about things pertaining to the SEC

I'm sure there's a wooden bench outside of a barber shop in Monroe that has two empty spots on it... I don't know what Hootie will do though.

He's still a 1st round draft pick. No one was shot or raped.

He'll get to play in the NFL.

But I just don't see any way whatsoever this is all settled in time for him to play another down of college ball.

Aggies had a guy arrested for weed and firearms several years ago, and he was only just recently sentenced.

Cecil Hurt exclusively covers Alabama - who else would he be talking about?

Alabama fans can't think?

Sorry - question answers itself.

nah, it can take a long time sometimes. I believe Crowell took at least a year to finalize

I agree, but the poster I responded to said "a few years ago". A defendant like Robinson, with the income potential at risk on a case dragging out, should have an attorney pushing for a fair and expedited resolution to this case. Not saying he'll get it, but he's more likely to get it than someone who knows jail time is coming and is perfectly fine with delaying the inevitable. That's all i'm sayin.
