I think it's hilarious that anyone thinks this Bama team is good enough to crown the winner of this playoff already.

I don't think I've seen or heard a single real person say this.

I don't see either of the Big Ten teams being huge threats but anything could happen.

Clemson hasn't been playing well as of late but at their best they are just as good.

Hate to say it but I think OU beats us. Schematically they match up with our defense as well as anyone. They are elite defensively as well; we'd need to get Henry going early to wear down their defensive front and protect the defense.

In general I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances.

Lane will go away from Henry vs. OU and it would be our downfall.

Good thing we play Michigan State/Iowa first more than likely.

I think tOSU is a top 4 team for sure but I couldnt put them over Bama or OU with any confidence. OU would be a bad bad matchup for Ohio State IMO. But both teams are set up to give Bama fits.

I think thats a real possibility. I would say a close game Bama wins, but if Bama cant contain Mayfield and the passing game and OU gets up early I could see bama abandoning the run to try and keep up with no luck.

Not to take anything away from OSU -- they've held fast and the beatdown of Michigan was legitimate -- but their schedule is littered with mediocrity. Outside of UM, they didn't beat a single team of consequence. Bad timing in cross-divisional games hurt, and VT being down certainly didn't help, but that's just the luck of the draw.

Bama will get a favorable draw in the CFP for the first round and will be the beneficiary of playing a team that they will be heavily favored against for the championship. After Bama wins the title, you all can continue with your narrative of 'if Colt hadn't been injured,' 'mulligan,' 'ND was grossly overrated,' etc. I will enjoy every second of your angst.

Oklahoma is 50th in the country stopping the run. LSU is 20th. Im not scared of them.

This is a lot better of a bama team then people are giving credit for. Since the Ole Miss game they have given up 10 Td's and have scored 8.

whatever team they play is going to have to hit 30 points to beat them. And unless the offense gives the ball over a bunch and leaves short fields I don't see it happening.

So if OSU does get in without winning the conference, will LSU fans turn into Urban's cheering section like they did last year? Because that would be the most hilarious thing ever.

Only one team that scares me and that is OU. Feel good about all others, either way at least we are getting to the playoffs with chances to win it all unlike some programs.

I have to agree with other Bama fans in this thread. I definitely think OU poses a huge threat. The way they are playing right now, they could very well be the best team in the nation. The beautiful thing is now we have a playoff so we get to know who's best from 1-4 instead of just 1 and 2.
