I'm not saying that Lambert is the 2nd coming of Joe Montana. I think he's a solid, not great, QB who can make most throws that he has to. The Vandy game a mixture of Lambert starting a little "off" and the play calling not helping him much. We were running basic packages and I think we were extremely confident that we could win with just our run game if need be. Against USC the coaches weren't taking any chances after last season. We used our offensive packages and motion to get the matchups we wanted (Michel against a LB in coverage is basically a real-life cheat code). I don't think Lambert will be on he All-SEC list at the end of the year, but I think he'll be a guy that proves he can hurt teams when they sell out to stop our RBs.

Bama will win this one.

One thing nobody is talking about, I don't expect Bama to be -5 on Turnovers against Georgia.

We can stop the run, we can pressure the QB and we can establish the run on Georgia.

David Greene isn't under center anymore.

but if our qb play doesn't improve we may still throw 3/4 picks. Last week our D didn't create any, that has to change moving forward.

of course not, I don't think anyone expects that. However, ever since pruitt arrived we've done very well in the TOM category. We just had our first turnover of hte season last weekend.

Generally, but you've never faced chubb. He's not going to run for 200 or anything, but he's damn sure the best RB alabama will have faced recently.

We have a veteran line returned 4 starters, we should fare alright. Although your pass rush is very very good

that's probably my biggest concern. I love our secondary against a green QB but I hope we can contain the run

umm...look at your QB situation

I'll check your Kirby and raise you a Pruitt.

UGA beat a 1-2 USCe like a good team should beat a team with a dumpster fire defense. It was a solid win and they looked good doing it.

Bama lost their game but the question is how great is OM? Best in the SEC? Because if OM is great then Bama is not dead. Bama was -5 in turnovers and down late and still almost won.

Kirby > Pruitt.

But here's a question, which one of these former acc QBs is going to struggle more with a big SEC game? Lambert will be in his first and Coker in his second after losing his first.

And UGA, Coker can run BTW. It's evidently deceiving because nobody believes its happening as its happening and so nobody touches him.

Could happen. With Snowboard Cam at Auburn they'll at least lose two.

Recently.

My question and it may not even mean anything. How many does Bama still have on the team that played in the 2012 secg? UGA has a tendency in the past to play down to competition and appeared to read their own headlines when the media touts them

Most of our o line and playmaker like Marshall and Mitchell were there in 2012. Not many on D. Just curious about Bama and I really don't feel like looking it up lol

This is a matchup that I will enjoy watching. If that run defense is as good as they think, they'll stop the run. If Chubb is as good as I think, he's going to go off.

I doubt they are, but this is a team that had the most talent in the nation and they are backed into a corner, so it makes sense to use caution as a fan.

You know you're doing something right when losing "big" equals an 11 point loss.

Pretty cool actually. I bet Syracuse fans will show up just to see LSU play. It will be a memorable game
